According to Robert Costa, Emily Kohrs (special grand jury forewoman) is not the problem.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;This 30-year-old foreperson to us has actually provided us a lens and made us aware that every suspicion we had as to this questionable process was, in fact, a reality,&#8221; There is little to be said about the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=8LhqUHDO-8E\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Interview that was aired Sunday &#8220;Face the Nation.&#8221;<\/a><\/p>\n<p>They have not declared it. &#8220;lost 100% confidence&#8221; In the investigation of whether Trump and his associates illegally interfered with the last presidential election. &#8220;We feel this process has been compromised,&#8221; There is little else.<\/p>\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Trump&#8217;s lawyers say that the Georgia-based probe into Trump and his aides has been closed. &#8220;compromised&#8221; Recent public comments by the special Grand Jury Forewoman<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We&#8217;ve lost 100 percent confidence in this process,&#8221; Drew Findling: <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/costareports?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@costareports<\/a>. <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/mcfCJQpulC\">pic.twitter.com\/mcfCJQpulC<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Face The Nation (@FaceTheNation) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/FaceTheNation\/status\/1629900916328374274?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">February 26, 2023<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis, a Democrat, may soon use the special grand jury&#8217;s findings to pursue charges by impaneling a separate, regular grand jury. After the special grand jury finished its months-long effort, which roped in 75 witnesses, Willis told a judge last month, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnn.com\/2023\/01\/24\/politics\/fulton-county-trump-grand-jury-hearing\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">&#8220;decisions are imminent.&#8221;<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The special grand jury&#8217;s report <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/judge-releases-parts-of-grand-jury-report-in-trump-probe\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">remains mostly under seal<\/a>, but Kohrs divulged how it recommends multiple indictments. She also said despite her desire to subpoena Trump, the panel did not do so because of considerations about limited time and resources.<\/p>\n<p>Several legal experts <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/georgia-grand-jury-forewoman-may-have-jeopardized-trump-case\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">warned the interviews<\/a> given by Kohrs might create problems for prosecutors putting together any criminal cases.<\/p>\n<p>Fulton County Superior Court Judge Robert McBurney, who oversaw the special grand jury, told <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ajc.com\/politics\/trump-attorneys-special-grand-jury-probe-a-clown-show\/ZTR6VUWXGFC2BMOCX6FH6DAPCI\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The Atlanta Journal-Constitution (AJC)<\/a> that jurors cannot discuss their deliberations but are not prohibited from &#8220;talking about the fruit of their deliberations.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Findling said Trump&#8217;s legal team has &#8220;no chagrin&#8221; toward Kohrs in particular but rather the appearance of a &#8220;relationship&#8221; between prosecuting attorneys and the members of this grand jury.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;There cannot be a relationship,&#8221; he said. &#8220;When the foreperson uses the word \u2018we&#8217; that lets you know there&#8217;s a relationship there. When she says in interviews \u2018certain battles were not worth us battling,&#8217; it&#8217;s not the special purpose grand jury that&#8217;s litigating, it&#8217;s the district attorney&#8217;s office.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Findling also previewed what comes next when it comes to the Trump legal team exploring its options.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Are the results of that special purpose grand jury to be crumbled up like a piece of paper and thrown into a waste paper basket? Our options are, can this district attorney&#8217;s office continue to be part of this case? We have to legally research all of those issues,&#8221; he said.<\/p>\n<p>Little said she found Kohrs&#8217; explanation for why Trump was not subpoenaed &#8220;surprising,&#8221; attributing it to a lack of diligence.
