Chloe Cole with her lawyer \/ @ChoooCole Twitter    <\/p>\n<p>Chloe Cole (an 18-year old detransitioned girl) announced Thursday she was suing the hospital which facilitated her sexchange as a child. It is the first ever official lawsuit of its type in the United States. <em>Daily Wire\u00a0<\/em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/detransitioner-chloe-cole-announces-official-lawsuit-against-kaiser-permanente-for-medical-negligence\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Reports<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Cole, represented by the Center for American Liberty, the Dhillon Law Group, and LiMandri &#038; Jonna LLP, is accusing\u00a0the Permanente Medical Group, Kaiser Foundation Health Plan, and Kaiser Foundation Hospitals of &#8220;medical negligence,&#8221; She claims that doctors coerced her to undergo surgery &#8220;gender transition&#8221; As a child.<\/p>\n<p>Cole, who was thirteen years old, had several mental health disorders, including depression and anxiety. After hours of exposure, Cole was diagnosed with depression. &#8220;online transgender influencers,&#8221; According to the, she believed she was a boy. <a href=\"https:\/\/libertycenter.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/Complaint1.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Reported<\/a> Filled to the Superior Court of California. The Kaiser Gender Pathways Clinic in Oakland, California provided guidance for her parents when she sought help. &#8220;immediately affirmed Chloe in her self-diagnosed gender dysphoria.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Doctors, &#8220;ignoring her extensive comorbidities [and] her declining mental health condition,&#8221; Cole was put on cross-sex hormone therapy and puberty blocking drugs from the age of 13 to 16. When she was 15, they performed a double-mastectomy on her.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Chloe&#8217;s family sought medical treatment for her at Kaiser,&#8221; Harmeet Dhillon is an attorney and CEO at the Center for American Liberty. &#8220;Instead of caring for her and providing medically competent diagnoses and treatment, they permanently disfigured her for profit.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/freebeacon.com\/latest-news\/south-dakota-senate-passes-ban-on-transgender-surgeries-and-hormone-treatments-for-minors\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Twenty-two countries<\/a> have already passed or are considering\u00a0bills that would ban medical transition treatments on minors. Cole has testified at numerous state hearings.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I was 15 when you cut into my body, ripped out my breasts, and stitched me back up like I was your rag doll,&#8221; Cole spoke at a press conference on Thursday. &#8220;You are on the wrong side of history and will always be remembered as child butchers.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Cole is not alone in bringing a U.S. suit against her physicians. But she isn&#8217;t the only one who is concerned about the medical practices used to treat minors who question their gender.
