At least two of them propose using ARP funds as a means to fund them.<\/p>\n<p>Providence, Rhode Island, already has <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/politics\/10m-arp-funds-went-providence-reparations-commission-pushing-bail-fund-k-12-racism-curriculum\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Contributed $10 million to pandemic relief<\/a> The creation of the Providence Municipal Reparations Commission in order to address &#8220;racial equity.&#8221; It did not recommend that cash payments be made to people of color who were affected by slavery. This is how reparations are normally defined. He told FOX Business that ARP funds were used to support the program. &#8220;the negative impacts of the pandemic include assistance to households and communities while promoting affordable housing, assistance to small businesses and nonprofits.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Forbes was again reminded by Ford &#8220;This is not going to be a process that is issuing checks to Black people in Shelby County,&#8221; Adding that the &#8220;process of community reparations provides an ecosystem to intentionally track and promote Black wealth while providing access to assets and infrastructure.&#8221;\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxbusiness.com\/politics\/aoc-alleges-rank-partisanship-in-republican-covid-fraud-investigation-comer-responds\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>AOC ALLEGES \u2018RANK PARTISANSHIP&#8217; IN REPUBLICAN COVID FRAUD INVESTIGATION, COMER RESPONDS<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Some in Congress argue that using pandemic relief to pay reparations is an abuse of taxpayer funds.<\/p>\n<div class=\"inline image-ct\">\n<div class=\"m\"><source media=\"(max-width: 767px)\" \/><source media=\"(min-width: 768px) and (max-width: 1023px)\" \/><source media=\"(min-width: 1024px) and (max-width: 1279px)\" \/><source media=\"(min-width: 1280px)\" \/><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/a57.foxnews.com\/static.foxbusiness.com\/foxbusiness.com\/content\/uploads\/2021\/12\/931\/523\/GettyImages-1236300931.jpg?ve=1&#038;tl=1\" alt=\"Rep.
