Legal experts warn she could create hurdles for prosecutors.<\/p>\n<p>Emily Kohrs is a 30-year-old resident in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/topic\/georgia\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Georgia<\/a>\u2018s Fulton County who says she volunteered to serve as forewoman of the panel, appeared for a series of media interviews on Tuesday. She gave an insider&#8217;s perspective of the events and offered a few indictment suggestions.<\/p>\n<p>When <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2023\/02\/21\/us\/trump-georgia-grand-jury-indictments.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The New York Times<\/a> She did not know if Trump was recommended by the special grand jury. &#8220;You&#8217;re not going to be shocked. It&#8217;s not rocket science.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Kohrs laughed as she revealed to CNN&#8217;s Kate Bolduan, that the list is very long. Kohrs said she would be &#8220;sad&#8221; And &#8220;frustrated&#8221; If the district attorney declines to prosecute,<\/p>\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Georgia Grand jury foreperson &#8220;I will be sad&#8221; if the DA decides against bringing charges against Trump \u2026 I will be frustrated if nothing happens.&#8221; <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/9RfusUCjUX\">pic.twitter.com\/9RfusUCjUX<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Tom Elliott (@tomselliott) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/tomselliott\/status\/1628405927375253506?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">February 22, 2023<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The Associated Press reported that the team was named by them <a href=\"https:\/\/apnews.com\/article\/politics-new-york-city-only-on-ap-donald-trump-georgia-266e28c4e47e54731b233e0f770f6729\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">found Kohrs&#8217; name<\/a> on subpoenas obtained through open records requests. Media reports, including AP&#8217;s, claimed that when Kohrs was interviewed, she appeared to avoid explicitly defying Fulton County Superior Court Judge Robert McBurney&#8217;s order not to discuss jury deliberations during their respective interviews.<\/p>\n<p>Still, legal experts and others were aghast at what they witnessed from Kohrs.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;She shouldn&#8217;t be doing this,&#8221; <a href=\"https:\/\/abcnews.go.com\/US\/speaking-foreperson-georgia-trump-probe-undermine-future-case\/story?id=97385930\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">said Dan Abrams<\/a>, ABC News&#8217; chief legal analyst. &#8220;It isn&#8217;t helpful to the perception of the objectivity of the criminal justice system, and it starts to feel like she&#8217;s putting pressure on the district attorney to actually move forward with charges.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Sunny Hostin, a co-host on ABC&#8217;s &#8220;The View&#8221; who previously worked as federal prosecutor, said she feared Kohrs was &#8220;compromising the integrity of the investigation.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">IMPACT OF GEORGIA GRAND JURY FOREWOMAN&#8217;S MEDIA TOUR: <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/TheView?src=hash&#038;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#TheView<\/a> co-hosts react to interviews by the forewoman of the grand jury that investigated efforts by former Pres. Trump himself took aim at Kohrs on his Truth Social platform on Wednesday.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;This Georgia case is ridiculous, a strictly political continuation of the greatest Witch Hunt of all time,&#8221; <a href=\"https:\/\/truthsocial.com\/@realDonaldTrump\/posts\/109909310069862367\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Trump said<\/a>. &#8220;Now you have an extremely energetic young woman, the (get this!) \u2018foreperson&#8217; of the Racist D.A.&#8217;s Special Grand Jury, going around and doing a Media Tour revealing, incredibly, the Grand Jury&#8217;s inner workings &#038; thoughts. This is not JUSTICE, this is an illegal Kangaroo Court.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The special grand jury, which had the authority to subpoena witnesses and documents, but not to issue indictments, was put together at the behest of Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis in May 2022 and the panel <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/georgia-special-grand-jury-submits-trump-probe-report\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">completed its work<\/a> in January.<\/p>\n<p>Willis, a Democrat, may soon use their findings to pursue charges by impaneling a separate, regular grand jury. &#8220;Decisions are imminent,&#8221; Willis told a judge last month. The district attorney spoke to the urgency of her investigation in arguing against the release of the special grand jury&#8217;s report.<\/p>\n<p>Last week, McBurney ordered the disclosure of three sections, leaving most of the report sealed from the public&#8217;s view until charging decisions are made by Willis. One disclosed section said a &#8220;majority&#8221; of the special grand jury believes perjury was committed by one or more witnesses.
