One of them is being a bad parent to her daughters, Mary Williams and Vanessa Vadim.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I&#8217;m not scared of dying,&#8221; The &#8220;Book Club&#8221; <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/jane-fonda-reveals-shes-been-diagnosed-with-cancer-starts-chemo\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Star<\/a> explained. &#8220;It&#8217;s an adventure. You know, I don&#8217;t want to go. I still have a lot to do. But \u2026 what I&#8217;m really scared of is getting to the end of life with a lot of regrets when there&#8217;s no time to do anything about it.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><strong>WATCH:<\/strong><\/p>\n[embedded content]\n<p>&#8220;I have very few regrets,&#8221; Fonda explained to the host. &#8220;I was not the kind of mother that I wish that I had been to my children. But I have great, great children, talented, smart. And I just didn&#8217;t know how to do it.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The &#8220;80 For Brady&#8221; <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/jane-fonda-says-thered-be-no-climate-crisis-if-not-for-racism-and-twitter-has-thoughts\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">star<\/a> She said that she has made it a point to do and over the years. &#8220;show up&#8221; Her children, after she learned later in life what it means to be a parent, will thank her. &#8220;supposed&#8221; To be,<a href=\"https:\/\/www.goodmorningamerica.com\/family\/story\/jane-fonda-regrets-type-mom-3-kids-im-97354612\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Good Morning America<\/a>&#8221; noted.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;You know, I have an organization in Georgia [Georgia Campaign for Adolescent Pregnancy Prevention]\u00a0that deals with adolescents,&#8221; Fonda shared. &#8220;And I&#8217;ve studied parenting. I know what it&#8217;s supposed to be now. I didn&#8217;t know then. So I&#8217;m trying to show up now.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Fonda&#8217;s 2017 comments were very similar to her 2017 ones. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.net-a-porter.com\/en-us\/porter\/article-c0afa78a389fe2a2\/cover-stories\/cover-stories\/jane-fonda-interview\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Speaking<\/a> Brie Larson, actress as she explained &#8220;it&#8217;s never too late&#8221; To make up for not being better parents.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I am trying to make up for what I didn&#8217;t know before,&#8221; Fonda shared the moment. &#8220;When I die, I want my family to be around me. I want them to love me and I have to earn that. I&#8217;m still working at it.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Fonda was married to Roger Vadim (later French filmmaker), with whom she had Vanessa Vadim. She and her ex-husband Tom Hayden welcomed their son Troy Garity in 1973. Hayden was a late antiwar activist.
