Her autopsy revealed that she had burn marks covering 80% of her body.<\/p>\n<p>The autopsy report <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2023\/02\/20\/debbie-collier-autopsy-reveals-80-burns-to-her-body\/\">Obtained by the New York Post<\/a>Collier&#8217;s injuries were much more severe than previously believed, according to a new report. Collier was reported to have died at the age of 58. &#8220;inhalation of superheated gases, thermal injuries and a hydrocodone intoxication.&#8221; Collier took hydrocodone regularly after sustaining a back injury. This was prescribed by a doctor.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Autopsy examination revealed thermal injuries of the external body surface and of the traceal mucosa (windpipe), no deposited soot in the airway, and no significant elevation of blood carboxyhemoglobin,&#8221; The autopsy added that &#8220;no other significant injuries were noted.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;These findings may be due to a sudden, intense \u2018flash&#8217; fire, as well as the outdoor environment of the fire,&#8221; According to the Post, this report stated.<\/p>\n<p>Georgia Bureau of Investigation stated that a melted gas bottle was found close to the fire site. However, there are still some strangeities surrounding Collier&#8217;s murder. Collier was found lying downhill from the origin of the fire, naked and holding on to the trunk of a small tree in her right hand.<\/p>\n<p>Collier left her home that she shared with Steve on September 10th. Later that day she sent Amanda Bearden (36-year-old) a chilling text. &#8220;They are not going to let me go, love you.&#8221; Bearden also received $2,385 from Collier via Venmo<\/p>\n<p>In late September, police\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/new-details-emerge-regarding-debbie-colliers-movements-on-day-she-disappeared\">Published<\/a>\u00a0Surveillance footage shows Collier entering Clayton&#8217;s Family Dollar Store on Saturday, September 10th. She was the only person in the video. According to the HCSO&#8217;s Criminal Investigations Division, (CID), Collier entered the store at 2:55 p.m. on September 10, and left at 3:09 p.m. Collier was calm and collected while there. &#8220;not in fear of anything,&#8221; According to the CID&#8217;s press release, Authorities claim she purchased a rainponcho, a refillable torch lighter and paper towels.<\/p>\n<p>Collier was found in a ravine about 60 miles from her Athens home on September 11th, with severe burns and the remnants of an old tarp.\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/husband-son-of-mom-who-sent-chilling-final-text-speak-out-after-her-death\">reported<\/a>. According to the Habersham County Sheriff&#8217;s Office, an investigator was sent. &#8220;observed a nude female laying on her back, grasping a small tree with her right hand,&#8221; About 30 feet away from the road.
