Both bills passed the House during the 116th Congress only to be blocked by Senate Republicans.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The National Rifle Association tweeted out a warning that Biden\u2019s \u201cextreme gun control\u201d agenda would be brought to Congress sometime in the next couple of weeks.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSources in DC report that Congress will be voting on Biden\u2019s extreme gun control legislation as early as next week,\u201d the NRA tweeted. \u201cPossible that they will bypass committee process. If gun owners are not allowed to keep those specific semi-automatic firearms under a Biden ban, that would effectively amount to a mandatory gun confiscation-type program. \u2026<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Biden\u2019s call on Congress to enact legislation that would strip gun manufacturers of immunity from lawsuits who \u2018knowingly put weapons of war on our streets\u2019 is essentially a backdoor way of trying to bankrupt the gun industry or force them to drastically change the types of weapons they are willing to sell.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>When gun control activists use the term \u2018weapons of war,\u2019 they are generally using it in such a way as to portray the weapons that they want to ban as \u2018weapons\u2019 that are used in \u2018war,\u2019 as in used by militaries. However, this is inaccurate because the types of weapons that gun control activists are referring to, usually AR-15-style rifles, are not used in war. The variants of those rifles that are currently sold by gun manufacturers in the U.S. are semi-automatic firearms, not the fully automatic versions that are used by military.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>\u201cThere is seemingly little limit to what Biden wants to target when it comes to the Second Amendment, ranging from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.atr.org\/biden-impose-200-gun-tax?amp\">taxing<\/a> gun owners, banning magazines \u2018<a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/no-compromise-biden-goes-extreme-guns-calls-ban-ryan-saavedra\">that can hold multiple bullets in them<\/a>,\u2019 offering \u2018<a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/no-compromise-biden-goes-extreme-guns-calls-ban-ryan-saavedra\">no compromise<\/a>\u2018 on the issue, and making other incoherent remarks like claiming that a \u2018<a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/biden-rational-gun-policy-is-banning-50-clips-in-a-weapon-ak-47-wont-protect-you-from-government\">rational policy<\/a>\u2018 on guns is making sure \u2018you cannot have 20, 30, 40, 50 clips in a weapon,&#8217;\u201d The Daily Wire <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/biden-to-congress-enact-major-restrictions-on-constitutionally-protected-second-amendment-rights\">reported<\/a>. \u201cWhile on the campaign trail, Biden\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/joe-biden-declares-beto-orourke-to-lead-bidens-anti-gun-agenda\">said<\/a> that far-left gun control activist Beto O\u2019Rourke was \u2018going to be the one who leads this effort\u2019 for the Biden administration. O\u2019Rourke has called for confiscating firearms from Americans.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>A couple of days after Biden made the demand of Congress, White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/biden-wont-rule-out-using-executive-orders-to-crackdown-on-second-amendment-rights-white-house\">signaled<\/a> that Biden was open to using executive orders to implement his gun control agenda.<\/p>\n<p>Alan Gottlieb, the founder of the Second Amendment Foundation, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/expert-warns-biden-has-launched-four-prong-attack-against-second-amendment-advises-how-to-respond\">said<\/a> in a recent interview that Biden had launched a \u201cfour-prong attack against firearms ownership in the country,\u201d which did not even include what Biden may be considering achieving through executive orders.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOne is universal background check is really a universal registration system,\u201d Gottlieb said. \u201cSecond is banning of assault weapons and then defining assault weapons as almost any semi-automatic firearm.
