It was what happened next that revealed the true story. The grand jury recommended bogus accusations based upon the Fulton County District Attorney&#8217;s misrepresentation.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We definitely started with the first phone call, the call to Secretary Raffensperger that was so publicized,&#8221; Emily Kohrs is the forewoman on the special purpose grand jury <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2023\/02\/21\/us\/trump-georgia-grand-jury-indictments.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/apnews.com\/article\/politics-new-york-city-only-on-ap-donald-trump-georgia-266e28c4e47e54731b233e0f770f6729\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Noting<\/a> That the recording was played for jurors by the prosecutors on the first day. &#8220;I will tell you that if the judge releases the recommendations, it is not going to be some giant plot twist,&#8221; Kohrs continued. &#8220;You probably have a fair idea of what may be in there.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Yes. Yes.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Fani Willis, Fulton County Democrat District Attorney, has been trying to impanel a judge since the beginning. &#8220;special purpose grand jury&#8221; \u2014 &#8220;special purpose&#8221; because it can only make recommendations and cannot indict \u2014 to assist in her investigation &#8220;into any coordinated attempts to unlawfully alter the outcome of the 2020 elections in this state,&#8221; She has misrepresented Donald Trump&#8217;s Jan. 2, 20,21, telephone conversation between himself and Georgia&#8217;s Secretary-of-State Brad Raffensperger.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Willis made the same mistake as The Times in yesterday&#8217;s article. <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2022\/08\/09\/georgia-prosecutor-targeting-trump-bases-court-filing-on-fake-news\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><\/a> During Trump&#8217;s conversation, Raffensperger asked that &#8220;the Secretary \u2018find 11,780 votes&#8217; in the former President&#8217;s favor.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>However, I have been forced to document the conversation time and again by corrupt media who continue to lie about it. <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2022\/08\/09\/georgia-prosecutor-targeting-trump-bases-court-filing-on-fake-news\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Established<\/a> Trump &#8220;did not request that Raffensperger \u2018find 11,780 votes.&#8217; Period. It never happened.&#8221; It is more likely that you will do this during the holiday season. &#8220;telephone conversation between Trump&#8217;s legal team and the Secretary of State&#8217;s office, Trump&#8217;s lawyer explained to Raffensperger that \u2018the court is not acting on our petition. They haven&#8217;t even assigned a judge.'&#8221;\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>And it was because the Fulton County judge responsible for assigning a judge to hear Trump&#8217;s election lawsuit \u2014 ironically, the same Judge Chris Brasher who authorized Willis&#8217; special purpose grand jury \u2014 held up his legal challenge that Trump&#8217;s legal team reached out to Raffensperger, requesting the secretary of state&#8217;s office investigate the evidence of widespread violations of election law.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The transcript of Trump\u2019s call with Raffensberger supports this fact. Lawyers for the former President ticking &#8220;off the numerous categories of illegal votes of which they had concrete evidence \u2014 some 25 categories.&#8221; This is where the DA appears have pushed a second falsity, with Willis reportedly claiming that Willis was in fact the one who made it up.\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnn.com\/2022\/07\/05\/politics\/fulton-grand-jury-giuliani-eastman-graham\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">asserting<\/a>\u00a0In a subpoena, Trump&#8217;s lawyer Cleta Mitchell was notified that the call took place during which time. &#8220;parroted claims of voter fraud.'&#8221;\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Mitchell didn&#8217;t do such a thing. Mitchell did not push for voter fraud, she was asking the secretary of State&#8217;s office instead to investigate violations of Georgia election laws.<\/p>\n<p>However, the grand jury only knew Willis&#8217; facts and did not share them with the group.
