New York&#8217;s cashless bail policy prevents judges from keeping many suspects in jail while they wait for their trial.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B4\" class=\"a8d adSo\"><\/figure>\n<p>In Illinois, the court is also challenging a law passed by Democrats to eliminate bail.
