As of press time, the suspect was not identified.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We can confirm that a suspect has been taken into custody for the murder of one of our police officers. We are told that the arrest was made using our fallen officers&#8217; handcuffs,&#8221; <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/officialTUPA\/status\/1627296005308776449\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The Temple University Police Association tweeted<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">The suspect was brought to the headquarters of police. He was taken into custody in Buckingham Township. The handcuffs were used by police to arrest the fallen officer. After being taken into a hospital, the officer was declared deceased.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;There are simply no words that can make sense of this tragedy. It tears at our sense of community and safety.
