It also requires school officials and parents to inform parents if they provide certain services to students. &#8220;human sexuality&#8221; Or &#8220;family planning.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Kentucky Democrats call <a href=\"https:\/\/apps.legislature.ky.gov\/record\/23RS\/sb150.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Senate Bill 150<\/a>   &#8220;discrimination,&#8221; &#8220;horrible,&#8221; And &#8220;destructive,&#8221; One state senator is reported to have had &#8220;sobbed,&#8221; According to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kentucky.com\/news\/local\/education\/article272526783.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Kentucky.com<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Concerning teachers being forced to use students&#8217; preferred pronouns by teachers, the bill says that it shall &#8220;prohibit a school district from requiring school personnel or pupils to use pronouns for students that do not conform to that student&#8217;s biological sex.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Parents of students will be notified if their child receives services. &#8220;relating to &#8230; human sexuality, contraception, or family planning,&#8221; Also, that &#8220;specific questionnaires or screening forms given to a child receive parental consent and review and forbid general consent.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The bill was passed by party lines, with a vote of 296 to 6. <\/p>\n<p>A woman shouted &#8220;You just killed kids!&#8221; After the vote.<\/p>\n<p>State Senator Karen Berg was the most vocal Democrat. She allegedly cried at home after the vote. <strong><\/strong>Berg&#8217;s transgender son committed suicide in 2022.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Your vote yes on this bill means one of two things: Either you believe that trans children do not exist, or you believe that trans children do not deserve to exist,&#8221; Berg. <\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I can tell you these children exist,&#8221; Berg argued that pronouns were &#8220;the single most important thing that can be done to improve a child&#8217;s health and well-being.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Louisville, Kentucky Democrat Denise Harper Angel called this bill the &#8220;meanest piece of legislation and the most destructive for youth&#8221; She has seen 19 times in her life.<\/p>\n<p>Another Louisville Democrat Gerald Neal said that the legislature had &#8220;a responsibility to protect the smallest, less empowered, threatened, vulnerable individuals, no matter who they are.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;They own their space. We should not invade,&#8221; Neal also added.<\/p>\n<p>Reginald Thomas, Democrat State Senator, argued that the bill would impose mandates on teachers and take rights away from parents who want to protect their children.<\/p>\n<p>Republican state senator Max Wise filed the bill and responded that there was no mandate.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;There is nothing in this bill mandating, as it relates to pronouns &#8230; there is still the choice for teachers wishing to do so.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><em>Like Blaze News?
