If found, the gold has a current. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.yahoo.com\/entertainment\/treasure-hunters-searching-55-million-025705312.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Value estimated<\/a> $55 million<\/p>\n<p>After many years of research, the FBI was led by the Paradas to Dents Run, where the FBI searched in 2018. Although the FBI claimed that the dig was unsuccessful, the Parada remains skeptical.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I will stick at this until the end, until I know everything that happened to that gold,&#8221; He said. &#8220;How much, where it went to, who has it now. I gotta know.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Parada obtained new videos and images through a Freedom of Information Act request. These have shed light on the 2018 search, and raised more questions for Parada.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We&#8217;ve identified through our investigation a site that we believe has U.S. property, which includes a significant sum of base metal which is valuable \u2026 particularly gold, maybe silver,&#8221; The video was recorded by a Philadelphia-based FBI agent.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Parada claims that Parada thinks that the agency might have dug during the overnight search, even though the FBI says it never did so at night. Locals were able to find the gold in 2018 <a href=\"https:\/\/apnews.com\/article\/north-america-pa-state-wire-wv-state-wire-us-news-ap-top-news-b8b4d27254814894b3a79aa3083fb356\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Telled<\/a> The Associated Press reported that they had heard digging equipment being used throughout the night, and that the hill believed to contain the gold was lit up.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Parada, along with consultant Warren Getler, also asked why a photo taken of a large boulder after a storm started but without snow was not shown. &#8220;We have compelling evidence a night dig took place, and that the FBI went to some large effort to cover up that night dig,&#8221; Getler, who was a Civil War gold researcher, said.<\/p>\n<p>Parada&#8217;s recent legal filing also claims that there were other issues with the FBI\u2019s response to his request for information on Dents Run. According to the filing, Finder&#8217;s Keepers was denied video footage of the second day&#8217;s dig and did not give details about the trench measuring 30 feet long that is mapped at that site.
