FSIS, the USDA&#8217;s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS), announced on Feb. 15 that they are &#8220;.<a rel=\"noopener noreferrer external\" href=\"https:\/\/www.fsis.usda.gov\/recalls-alerts\/fsis-issues-public-health-alert-frozen-not-ready-eat-signature-select-breakfast-bowl\" target=\"_blank\">Public health alert<\/a>&#8220;For these frozen, un-ready-to eat meat products.<\/p>\n<p>This alert includes four types of Signature Select Breakfast Bowls: Sausage and Bacon, Meat Lovers, Sausage &#038; Gravy, and Meat Lovers. FSIS stated that Signature Select Breakfast Bowls had been subject to temperature abuse. &#8220;may have resulted in the growth of spoilage organisms or pathogens.&#8221; According to USDA, this could increase the risk for foodborne diseases.<span aria-hidden=\"true\">ae0fcc31ae342fd3a1346ebb1f342fcb<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&#8220;When exposed to arel=&#8221;noopener noreferrer external&#8221; href=&#8221;https:\/\/www.usda.gov\/media\/blog\/2016\/03\/25\/protecting-your-family-food-spoilage&#8221; target=&#8221;_blank&#8221;>unsuitable storage conditions<\/a>, such as the Danger Zone (between 40 and 140\u00b0 F), these organisms can multiply rapidly and they can release dangerous toxins that will make you sick if you consume the item, even if it&#8217;s cooked to a safe internal temperature,&#8221; The agency provides more information.<\/p>\n<p>The pathogenic bacteria <em>Clostridium perfringens<\/em> It is possible to &#8220;common cause of spoilage in meat and poultry,&#8221; According to the USDA. However, a public health alert was issued. &#8220;ensure that consumers are aware that these products should not be consumed.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The best-by dates on all affected bowls are January 2024.
