It was her first interview since her mom\u2019s death.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe last words she could say to me was, \u2018My sunshine,&#8217;\u201d Lattanzi shared. \u201cAnd right before she lost her ability to speak, she was making jokes.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>WATCH:<\/p>\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Olivia Newton-John&#8217;s husband, John Easterling, and her daughter, Chloe Rose Lattanzi, are reflected on the late &#8220;Grease&#8221; star&#8217;s life and how they are keeping her memory alive. <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/BTpmAnH42z\">pic.twitter.com\/BTpmAnH42z<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Access Hollywood (@accesshollywood) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/accesshollywood\/status\/1626630116200546316?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">February 17, 2023<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u201cI love my mom more than anything,\u201d she added, before getting choked up. \u201cShe\u2019You know, my mama. She\u2019s not Olivia Newton-John to me, but I\u2019m so glad that she was Olivia Newton-John for so many people.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>She also said all the support she\u2019s gotten from fans has been like a \u201cbig hug\u201d From the universe.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt actually has been a life raft,\u201d Chloe shared. \u201cIt has felt like a big hug from the universe. And I\u2019m very grateful for all of the people who reached out to us and extended their heart and their connection.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>John Easterling, Newton-John\u2019s widower, also opened up in the same interview about the late star.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEvery day, I miss Olivia terribly,\u201d Easterlings shared. \u201cAnd yet every day I\u2019m really super grateful that I had 15 wonderful years with this extraordinary human being.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The \u201cXanadu\u201d star\u2019s widower said he still feels his wife close and finds himself talking with her in the wee hours of the morning.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cA guy I was flying with said, \u2018You know, John, when you\u2019re lucky enough to have found your true soulmate, and you share a heart, when one passes, the other has the obligation to live life for both,&#8217;\u201d John shared. \u201cAnd that was very empowering and very powerful for me, and gave a way forward.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Newton-John was diagnosed with cancer in 1992. He beat the disease. It returned in 2013, and was remitted.
