Monahan, the Attending Physician of the United States Congress,\u201d According to the statement. \u201cYesterday, Dr. Monahan recommended inpatient care at Walter Reed. John agreed, and he is receiving treatment on a voluntary basis.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The New York Times reported that Fetterman was experiencing difficulties late last week. \u201cserious mental health\u201d After the stroke that nearly killed his father last year, he now has difficulty understanding the words of others.<\/p>\n<p>The report said that Fetterman\u2019s struggles are significantly worse when he is under any kind of stress.<\/p>\n<p>Fetterman has indicated that when he\u2019s under stress, people\u2019s voices become muffled, the report said.<\/p>\n<p>The report comes following Fetterman\u2019s hospitalization last week after feeling lightheaded at a Democrat Senate retreat.<\/p>\n<p>Fetterman\u2019s staff claimed that doctors said that he did not have another stroke and that they were checking for signs of seizures.<\/p>\n<p>According to the report, strokes last year took a \u201cvery real psychological toll\u201d His achievements and those of his \u201chad to come to terms with the fact that he may have set himself back permanently by not taking the recommended amount of rest during the campaign.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Fetterman\u2019s office released a statement last Friday claiming that medical tests from the health episode came back negative.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cA few minutes ago, Senator John Fetterman was discharged from The George Washington University Hospital,\u201d According to the statement. \u201cIn addition to the CT, CTA, and MRI tests ruling out a stroke, his EEG test results came back normal, with no evidence of seizures.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Sen.
