Hart\u2019s\u00a0remains were horribly mutilated after the shooting, with police calling it one of the worst things they had ever seen.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s worse, though, when you don\u2019t lose your child to something like cancer or an accident. It\u2019s when someone takes that child from the world. What I can\u2019t imagine \u2014 nobody can imagine \u2014 is when the person that takes a child from the world is the one that brought that child in,\u201d Quam<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m innocent, f*** you all, you\u2019re garbage,\u201d Thaler replied when Thaler was offered the chance to address her sentence. She also gave the court the middle eye.<\/p>\n<p>Thaler\u2019s sister, Nikita Kronberg, who served as Hart\u2019s foster mother starting in January 2021 before Thaler was granted full custody in May 2022, called Thaler a \u201cmonster\u201d In a victim impact statement.<\/p>\n<p>Thaler purchased the shotgun soon after Eli\u2019s father, Tory, filed papers asking the court for full custody. She <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cbsnews.com\/news\/julissa-thaler-convicted-killing-6-year-old-son-eli-hart-minnesota\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Ask<\/a>\u00a0For ammunition, ask a clerk at the store \u201cblow the biggest hole\u201d Before the murder, it was also found that he had conducted an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailymail.co.uk\/news\/article-11761453\/Im-innocent-f-k-Killer-moms-warped-words-shes-jailed-brutal-murder-son-6.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Online search<\/a> Answer questions like \u201chow much blood can a 6-year-old lose?\u201d As well as \u201cpayment for life insurance if child dies,\u201d \u201chow to commit crime and blame child,\u201d  \u201cwhat length am I allowed to saw off a shotgun barrel?\u201d\u2019<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDuring that time, Eli and Tory were able to start a relationship, and their bond was powerful from the start,\u201d Kronberg wrote of her time as Eli\u2019s foster on a\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.gofundme.com\/f\/nkgn4c-funeral-and-headstone\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">GoFundMe page<\/a>\u00a0Dedicated to the payment of funeral costs. \u201cEli fell in love with his father and loved spending time with him. Tory was excited to make up for all the lost years and was thrilled to start teaching his son how to fish and ride a bike with no training wheels.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAt the end of December 2021, Eli returned to his mother\u2019s house for a home trial,\u201d Kronberg continued. \u201cDue to many red flags, Eli\u2019s mother was showing, Tory tried extremely hard to get custody of Eli. Unfortunately, more false Orders of Protection were filed, which postponed custody hearings. Numerous parties made many statements to CPS, fearing that mom would harm Eli if full custody were returned. Sadly full custody was returned on May 10, 2022.\u201d<\/p>\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Eli Hart was 6. His murder trial is ongoing against his mother. Loved being social. Prosecutor Dan Allard\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.kare11.com\/article\/news\/local\/prosecutors-to-self-edit-in-julissa-thaler-trial-for-murder-of-6-year-old-eli-hart\/89-16e58f00-8d69-477b-a776-1a2a48cdbb44\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">told jurors<\/a>\u00a0they would not see the graphic photos of Eli, who was strapped into his seat in the car when he was repeatedly shot. Allard told the judge, \u201cWe are self-editing because I don\u2019t want to see them again. They are horrid. The jury doesn\u2019t want to see them. They are as bad as I\u2019ve seen in any case.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Tory Hart\u2019s fianc\u00e9e, Josie Josephson, told\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.fox9.com\/news\/eli-hart-mother-arrested-in-case-of-boys-body-found-in-trunk-mound-orono\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Fox 9<\/a>, \u201cNot only did we express concerns to multiple people, multiple times \u2026 every time the response was, \u2018This is something for family courts.\u2019 [CPS] said laws do not allow us to address this, unless [they] see physical abuse, [they] have no grounds to remove him from her home.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Eli Hart\u2019s father Tory Hart\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cbsnews.com\/minnesota\/news\/eli-hart-lawsuit-father-dakota-county-murder\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">filed<\/a>\u00a0a wrongful death lawsuit against Dakota County in August 2022.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHow could someone do such an evil thing to an amazing, loving kid?\u201d Kronberg stated. \u201cNo one will ever know why she did what she did to Eli. We can only assume that it was to keep Tory and Eli away from each other. But this only separated them temporarily. They will be together once again in heaven one day.
