They pounced on her message to support its sentiments.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFeeling emotionally tired and a bit overwhelmed, yet also very in awe of the love so man people have for my papa,\u201d Scout Willis posted on Instagram.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSecond this Scouter feeling the abundant love for our guy and our family,\u201d Tallulah, 29 years old, added, and Rumer, 34-year-old, echo it. \u201cI third this Scouter and Buusk feeling so deeply grateful and in awe of the love for our sweet Daddio.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Last year, Willis\u2019 family released a\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/bruce-willis-reveals-diagnosis-that-is-taking-him-out-of-the-hollywood-game\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Statement<\/a> announcing he had been diagnosed with\u00a0aphasia.<\/p>\n<p>On Thursday, Bruce Willis\u2019 wife Emma Heming, Moore, and his five daughters and posted a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theaftd.org\/MNLStatement23\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">message<\/a> on The Association for Frontotemporal Degeneration\u2019s website.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSince we announced Bruce\u2019s diagnosis of aphasia in spring 2022, Bruce\u2019s condition has progressed and we now have a more specific diagnosis: frontotemporal dementia (known as FTD). Unfortunately, challenges with communication are just one symptom of the disease Bruce faces. While this is painful, it is a relief to finally have a clear diagnosis,\u201d The family stated.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFTD is a cruel disease that many of us have never heard of and can strike anyone. For people under 60, FTD is the most common form of dementia, and because getting the diagnosis can take years, FTD is likely much more prevalent than we know. Today there are no treatments for the disease, a reality that we hope can change in the years ahead. As Bruce\u2019s condition advances, we hope that any media attention can be focused on shining a light on this disease that needs far more awareness and research,\u201d They added.<\/p>\n<p>Bruce&#8217;s family stated that he would like FTD awareness.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOurs is just one family with a loved one who suffers from FTD, and we encourage others facing it to seek out the wealth of information and support available through AFTD (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/theaftd\/\">@theaftd<\/a>,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.theaftd.org\/\">theaftd.org<\/a>).
