The Journal reports that eggs have increased by 70%, frozen orange juice has increased more than 12 percent and cereal has increased 15% since last year.<\/p>\n<p>What is causing the crippling rises? The reasons were numerous as varied: avian influenza, bad weather and citrus disease, dead poultry, and Vladimir Putin.<\/p>\n<p>There are many moving parts and liabilities in global food supply. A drop in supply will, of course, lead to rising prices. But the Journal neglected to mention perhaps the most important contributor to Americans\u2019 economic woes: Biden\u2019s apparently limitless federal spending.<\/p>\n<p>Ukraine aid in 2022 is the largest single amount <a href=\"https:\/\/www.crfb.org\/blogs\/congress-approved-113-billion-aid-ukraine-2022\">$113 billion<\/a>Congress has plans to send at most <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bloomberg.com\/news\/articles\/2022-12-29\/biden-signs-1-7-trillion-funding-bill-that-includes-ukraine-aid?leadSource=uverify%20wall\">$47 billion<\/a> This year, there will be more. Under Biden\u2019s new $1.7 trillion spending spree, he plans to inject more dollars domestically into an economy still recovering from government-imposed Covid lockdowns. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnn.com\/2022\/12\/20\/politics\/spending-bill-congress-omnibus\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Appropriations<\/a> Include increased funding for food stamps and utility bill assistance, childcare, Medicaid, as well as other services.<\/p>\n<p>The January Consumer Price Index shows that the more cash you have, the higher the prices will be. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bls.gov\/news.release\/cpi.nr0.htm\">Report<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>It isn\u2019t just breakfast foods. Energy sector is also suffering. Electricity prices increased by around 12 percent. Utility gas services increased by 26.7 per cent. Gasoline, too, still stands at <a href=\"https:\/\/gasprices.aaa.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">$3.42<\/a> Today is more than averaging <a href=\"https:\/\/www.eia.gov\/todayinenergy\/detail.php?id=46356#:~:text=U.S.%20average%20gasoline%20prices%20and%20vehicle%20travel%20fell%20to%20multiyear%20lows%20in%202020&#038;text=U.S.%20regular%20retail%20gasoline%20prices,lowest%20annual%20average%20since%202016.\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">$2.17<\/a> 2020<\/p>\n<p>Americans choose to ignore accountability in the legacy media. The Washington Post claims inflation is occurring as Biden plans to spend even more of your hard-earned cash. \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2022\/09\/29\/washington-post-finally-learns-what-a-recession-is-and-swears-it-could-be-good-for-you-financially\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">good for you<\/a>,\u201d So, be positive. CNN says the recession is like receiving $100 per-month <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2022\/08\/19\/cnn-spins-bidens-recession-as-america-getting-a-100-a-month-raise\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">raise<\/a>. The Wall Street Journal now advocates for greater personal sacrifices by everyday working-class citizens.
