California, however, is the US&#8217;s most populous with approximately 38 million inhabitants.<\/p>\n<p>Fox News reports that state officials are moving to renewable energy in an effort to combat climate change. This could lead to power outages and disruptions in future, particularly as the state pushes for mandates for electric vehicles in the transportation sector.<a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/us\/california-loses-500000-residents-2-years-americans-flee-high-costs-covid-restrictions\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"> reported<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, Americans are moving from more expensive areas to more affordable ones. Democrat-run cities have the highest net outflows.<\/p>\n<p>Many people are choosing to relocate because of the high cost of living in areas like San Francisco or Los Angeles.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThey\u2019re going to have to build an outrageous amount of wind and solar in a very short time if they want to accomplish their objectives of electrifying \u2013 our whole transportation sector and our whole home heating and cooling and residential sector,\u201d Fox News Digital spoke to Edward Ring, a senior associate and co-founder at the California Policy Center on Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere\u2019s a burden to the consumer that\u2019s going to get very heavy,\u201d He continued. \u201cEven if they can pull it off without blackouts, the burden to the consumer is going to be ridiculous.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>As we <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailyfetched.com\/americans-fleeing-costly-crime-ridden-blue-state-cities-for-red-states\/\">reported<\/a> Americans fleeing Democrat-run blue states last year because of rising housing costs, high inflation and criminality<\/p>\n<p>Redfin reports that Americans are moving to more affordable areas of the country, according to an analysis.<\/p>\n<p>Redfin&#8217;s users have reached an all-time high 32.6 percent \u201clooked to move from one metro to another in the second quarter, up slightly from 32.3% in the first quarter and roughly 26% before the pandemic.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>It is not surprising that eight of the top ten largest cities with the highest outflows are Democrat-run, while Washington, DC and Boston, Massachusetts are the two other cities.<\/p>\n<p>Charlie Baker, the Bay State\u2019s governor, is a Republican, but Massachusetts has also gone blue in every presidential election since 1984.<\/p>\n<p>These are the ten largest cities that have the highest net outflows and are led by left-leaning mayors.<\/p>\n<p>San Francisco, CA \u2013 Net Outflow: 48,718<br \/>Los Angeles, CA \u2013 Net Outflow: 40,632<br \/>Los Angeles, CA \u2013 Net Outflow: 40,632<br \/>New York, NY \u2013 Net Outflow: 35,165<br \/>Washington, DC\u2013 Net Outflow: 24,492<br \/>Seattle, WA \u2013 Net Outflow: 18,594<br \/>Boston, MA \u2013 Net Outflow: 12,492<br \/>Detroit, MI \u2013 Net Outflow: 7,334<br \/>Denver, CO \u2013 Net Outflow: 5,635<br \/>Chicago, IL \u2013 Net Outflow: 4,769<br \/>Minneapolis, MN \u2013 Net Outflow: 2,795<\/p>\n<p>These cities have higher outflows in the second quarter of 2021 than other cities, including New York City, Denver and San Francisco.<\/p>\n<p>Taylor Marr, Redfin&#8217;s deputy chief economist, stated:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe typical home in San Francisco or San Jose now costs more than $1.5 million,\u201d He stated.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAdd in today\u2019s 5%-plus mortgage rates, and you have a sky-high monthly payment.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThose factors, along with more companies giving employees the permanent flexibility to work remotely, are driving a larger portion of buyers to consider homes in other parts of the country.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSomeone who would have to stretch beyond their budget in Los Angeles may be able to afford a home in Phoenix or San Antonio comfortably.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Quarter two saw the highest net inflows in metro areas in purple and red states.<\/p>\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><strong>READ MORE<a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailyfetched.com\/elon-musk-world-government-will-lead-to-collapse-of-civilization\/\"> Elon Musk: World Government Will Be a Success \u201cCollapse\u201d Civilization<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>According to census data, California has seen a net loss in population of 500,000 over the past two decades as residents seek alternative living arrangements due to high living expenses and COVID-related restrictions.
