However, the majority of the report is still secret, including portions that recommended specific individuals be indicted.<\/p>\n<p>Fani Willis is the Fulton County District Attorney and is currently leading the investigation into the 2020 election. She may use the findings to bring charges against her by appointing a regular grand jury.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/AnnaBower\/status\/1626250276540760065\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Sections not sealed on Thursday<\/a> Included the introduction and conclusion. The third section discussed the possibility that witnesses might have lied to the grand jury during their testimony.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cA majority\u201d A special grand jury believes one or more witnesses committed perjury. The panel recommends that the district lawyer be appointed. \u201cseek appropriate indictments for such crimes where the evidence is compelling,\u201d The report states.<\/p>\n<p>Seventy five witnesses either testified in front of the Fulton County resident special grand jury or were involved in its activities. \u201cThe overwhelming majority\u201d The grand jury report states that evidence was presented under oath.<\/p>\n<p>After hearing, the special grand jury makes a decision about election fraud. \u201cextensive\u201d Witnesses on the subject. \u201cWe find by a unanimous vote that no widespread fraud took place in the Georgia 2020 presidential election that could result in overturning that election,\u201d The report states.<\/p>\n<p>Willis is a Democrat <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/georgia-prosecutor-wants-grand-jury-report-in-trump-probe-kept-secret\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Arguments against<\/a> The report was released during a court appearance last week. \u201cWe want to make sure that everyone is treated fairly and we think for future defendants to be treated fairly, it is not appropriate at this time to have this report released,\u201d Willis replied. It had the power to subpoena witnesses, documents, but not indictments. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/georgia-special-grand-jury-submits-trump-probe-report\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">It was completed<\/a> In January.<\/p>\n<p>Over time, the inquiry has grown to include election fraud claims made by state legislators. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/michigan-ag-absolutely-enough-evidence-to-charge-2020-gop-electors-seemingly-part-of-a-bigger-conspiracy\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">alternate electors scheme<\/a>Attempts to gain unauthorized access to voting machines and harassment of election workers. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnn.com\/2023\/01\/09\/politics\/fulton-county-grand-jury-trump-election\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">CNN<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Several high-profile witnesses testified before the special grand jury, including Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger, Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC), former national security adviser Michael Flynn, and Trump\u2019s former personal lawyer Rudy Giuliani.<\/p>\n<p>Trump\u2019s attorneys have said the former president was \u201cnever subpoenaed nor asked to come in voluntarily by this grand jury or anyone in the Fulton County District Attorney\u2019s office.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Drew Findling and Marissa Goldberg from Georgia were also added. \u201cWe can assume that the grand jury did their job and looked at the facts and the law, as we have, and concluded there were no violations of the law by President Trump.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>After Trump called Raffensperger on a telephone call, Willis began her investigation <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/politics\/trump-raffensperger-call-transcript-georgia-vote\/2021\/01\/03\/2768e0cc-4ddd-11eb-83e3-322644d82356_story.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">To \u201cfind\u201d 11,780 votes<\/a>This was sufficient to reverse the state&#8217;s loss of power to Joe Biden.
