This statement addressed the ongoing turmoil surrounding James O&#8217;Keefe&#8217;s position as an undercover journalist. O&#8217;Keefe was reportedly placed on paid parental leave for misconduct claims.<\/p>\n<p>Project Veritas&#8217;s latest statement includes O&#8217;Keefe. The previous statement only discussed the work of the company and the process by which the board was evaluating the future direction for the site. This new statement confirms that a number employees complained about O&#8217;Keefe&#8217;s management style.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The narrative that is being portrayed by referencing this letter is patently false. James has not been removed from Project Veritas. Nowhere in that letter was there ever a suggestion to remove James from the organization,&#8221; Stack wrote.<\/p>\n<p><span>&#8220;James is the hardest working person I have ever met. Those who know him well know that he will not take time off unless forced to,&#8221; He concluded.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Stack said that O&#8217;Keefe&#8217;s being investigated was unrelated to recent stings against Pfizer, or candidates running for office.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"zxx\"><a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/1zU4obWhrw\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">pic.twitter.com\/1zU4obWhrw<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Project Veritas (@Project_Veritas) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/Project_Veritas\/status\/1625904035705368588?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">February 15, 2023<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>The <span>Project Veritas statements do not detail O&#8217;Keefe&#8217;s current actions or the allegations that prompted this whole mess. O&#8217;Keefe&#8217;s unprofessional behavior was also highlighted in the complaint by a donor.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Diana Remmers and her husband were involved in the incidents. O&#8217;Keefe asked for $75,000 rudely during a meeting. Remmers refused to take a photo with Remmers at an event where Remmers was. &#8220;humiliated to the point of tears.&#8221; According to the complaint, the authors were concerned O&#8217;Keefe&#8217;s behavior would turn them away from Project Veritas donors.
