He stressed, however, that &#8220;with that comes great danger.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The <span class=\"QuoteInBody-quoteNameContainer\" data-test=\"QuoteInBody\" id=\"RegularArticle-QuoteInBody-2\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/quotes\/TSLA\/\">Tesla<\/a><span class=\"QuoteInBody-inlineButton\"><span class=\"AddToWatchlistButton-watchlistContainer\" id=\"-WatchlistDropdown\" data-analytics-id=\"-WatchlistDropdown\"><button class=\"AddToWatchlistButton-watchlistButton\"><span class=\"QuoteInBody-quoteNameContainer\" data-test=\"QuoteInBody\"><\/span><\/button><\/span><\/span><\/span>SpaceX and Twitter boss, was asked how he envisions technology evolving in the next 10 years.<\/p>\n<p>Musk is co-founder of OpenAI, the U.S. startup that developed ChatGPT \u2014 a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/2023\/02\/08\/what-is-chatgpt-viral-ai-chatbot-at-heart-of-microsoft-google-fight.html\">Artificial intelligence tool generative<\/a> It returns human-like responses when prompted by the user.<\/p>\n<p>ChatGPT is an advanced AI form powered by GPT-3, a large language model. It&#8217;s programmed to recognize human language and generate replies based upon large data sets.<\/p>\n<p>ChatGPT &#8220;has illustrated to people just how advanced AI has become,&#8221; Musk. &#8220;The AI has been advanced for a while. It just didn&#8217;t have a user interface that was accessible to most people.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>He added that AI is not subject to the same safety standards as cars and airplanes. However, AI has no regulations or rules keeping it under control.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I think we need to regulate AI safety, frankly,&#8221; Musk spoke. &#8220;It is, I think, actually a bigger risk to society than cars or planes or medicine.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Regulation &#8220;may slow down AI a little bit, but I think that that might also be a good thing,&#8221; Musk was the second.<\/p>\n<p>The warnings by the billionaire about unrestricted AI development have been long-standing.
