Aero India is an ideal forum to showcase the most advanced, capable, lethal, and interoperable weapons systems the U.S. has to offer. This system and others are designed to penetrate and defeat advanced adversary air defenses,\u201d Major General Julian C. Cheater is the assistant deputy undersecretary for International Affairs at the Air Force.<a href=\"https:\/\/www.msn.com\/en-in\/news\/newsindia\/us-air-forces-f-35-jets-make-historic-debut-at-aero-india\/ar-AA17qbaC\"> via a statement<\/a>.\n<\/p>\n<p>US Charg\u00e9 d\u2019Affaires to India Ambassador A. Elizabeth Jones also told reporters that the size of the U.S. delegation at Aero India and the country\u2019s partnership pavilion showed that the U.S.-India strategic partnership remains one of \u201cour most consequential relationships.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIndia and the United States are working together in so many ways to ensure a free and open, prosperous, connected, and resilient Indo-Pacific region, where our democracies can thrive. As partners, we\u2019re working together to address climate change, improve global health and prepare for new pandemics, cooperate on cyber challenges, build quality infrastructure and ensure sustainable supply chains,\u201d Jones also added.\n<\/p>\n<p>Other U.S. aircraft that are being presented at this week\u2019s show include the F-16 Fighting Falcon, which will perform daily aerial demonstrations \u2013 while static displays will include F\/A-18E and F\/A-18F Super Hornet multi-role fighters.\n<\/p>\n<p>Russia apparently had an excellent mock-up of its interior,<a href=\"https:\/\/www.19fortyfive.com\/2023\/02\/for-sale-russias-su-57-felon-and-su-75-checkmate-stealth-fighters\/\"> Su-75 Checkmate to attract buyers<\/a>\n<\/p>\n<h2>Damper on Russia\u2019s Show?<\/h2>\n<p>Officials from the U.S. delegation have suggested that it would be \u201ctoo premature\u201d for the United States to offer the F-35 to India, the presence of the aircraft likely won\u2019t help Moscow\u2019s efforts to convince New Delhi to partner on the Checkmate.\n<\/p>\n<p>Russia pulled out all the stops.\n<\/p>\n<p>Alexander Mikheev, CEO of Rosoboronexport Russian arms export agency<a href=\"https:\/\/tass.com\/defense\/1576875\"> TASS, state media outlet<\/a> Interview with Aero India 2023 International Air Show. Russia offers India an opportunity to develop the Su-75.<\/p>\n<p>It is believed that this aircraft was built in the United States.<a href=\"https:\/\/www.19fortyfive.com\/2023\/02\/russias-su-75-checkmate-the-cheap-stealth-fighter-that-will-never-fly\/\"> This is it. Vaporware, that&#8217;s all.<\/a>.\n<\/p>\n<p>\u201cRussia is ready to continue cooperation in this sphere [joint production], including with regards to the fifth generation fighter, and produce new airplanes after inking the contract at HAL\u2019s (Hindustan Aeronautics Limited\u2019s) facilities. This depends on decisions of the Indian side,\u201d Mikheev suggested.\n<\/p>\n<p>Both countries have a strong track record in the development of fighter jets.\n<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe experience of working on the Su-30MKI airplane together with India has demonstrated that our countries can collaborate in such utterly challenging and high-tech projects as the creation of the production facility for the fourth generation fighter. This aircraft has formed the backbone of the Indian Air Force and has proven itself well in active military duty,\u201d Mikheev added.\n<\/p>\n<p>The Su-30MKI shouldn&#8217;t be considered the best example for the partnership between Moscow &#038; New Delhi.
