This, he claimed, hurt his image. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mediaite.com\/sports\/they-dont-know-sht-aaron-rodgers-accuses-espns-schefter-nfls-rapoport-of-spreading-fake-news-about-his-four-day-darkness-retreat\/\">Mediaite<\/a> reported. Rodgers previously ahref=&#8221;https:\/\/www.cnn.com\/2023\/02\/15\/sport\/aaron-rodgers-darkness-retreat-to-start-intl-spt\/index.html&#8221;>explained<\/a> His \u201cdarkness retreat\u201d He goes into complete darkness for four consecutive days.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis thing\u2019s been planned for about four months, and it was always the same date. Always the end of this week,\u201d Rodgers also shared the stage. \u201cAnybody with the knowledge to the opposite of that is fake news.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>WATCH:<\/strong><\/p>\n[embedded content]\n<p>\u201cThere\u2019s an inner circle, right? And in my inner circle, nobody talks to Ian Rapoport, to Adam Schefter, or to any of those people,\u201d He added. \u201cIf you\u2019re one of those people who\u2019s talking to those people, it\u2019s a great reminder for you; you\u2019re not in the inner circle.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cJust stop with the fake news,\u201d Rodgers continued. \u201cI\u2019m not upset about it \u2026 it\u2019s classic media you know trying to be first, not trying to be right.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The Packers QB asked people to stop when they hear any comments, including those made by President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump, Dr. Anthony Fauci and Joe Rogan. \u201cquestion it.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI have no problem with Ian Rapoport, Schefter,\u201d The Packers QB stated. \u201cI think they\u2019re really good at their jobs. When it comes to me, they don\u2019t know s***. They really don\u2019t. They don\u2019t have people in my inner circle who are sources; I can promise you that. And anybody who would talk to them is not in my inner circle. It\u2019s that simple.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI said, after the Super Bowl, I\u2019m gonna go on my darkness retreat, and then I\u2019m probably going to have a better sense about where I\u2019m at in my life,\u201d He added. \u201cI didn\u2019t say, \u2018I\u2019m going to my darkness retreat just to figure out if I\u2019m going to play next year or retire.&#8217;\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Rodgers blasted then the false narratives of the reporters he accused \u201cnot even actually\u201d listening to what he said last Tuesday on McAfee\u2019s show about his planned retreat.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSo for [Rapoport] to say something, \u2018Monday through Thursday I was supposed to be in there,\u2019 that was never the plan,\u201d The Packers star said it. \u201cIt hasn\u2019t been the plan for four months. So don\u2019t make s*** up.
