He announced Wednesday that he has subpoenaed five executives from Big Tech companies.<\/p>\n<p>Subpoenas are issued to obtain documents and communications. \u201crelating to the federal government\u2019s reported collusion with Big Tech to suppress free speech,\u201d according to a press release from Jordan\u2019s office.<\/p>\n<p>Subpoenas were issued to the chief executives of Alphabet and Meta, Apple, Meta and Microsoft. Twitter was not included on this list.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe House Judiciary Committee has repeatedly attempted to engage with the five companies since last December. Unfortunately, the companies have not adequately complied with our requests,\u201d The press release stated that.<\/p>\n<p>Jordan gave March 23rd as the deadline. \u201cStep one towards accountability,\u201d He spoke of subpoenas.<\/p>\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">We just subpoenaed Google, Amazon, Facebook, Microsoft, and Apple regarding Big Tech\u2019s reported collusion with the federal government. <\/p>\n<p>Step one toward accountability<\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Rep.
