This trend continued with over 110 million Americans tuning in to the Super Bowl.<\/p>\n<p>Over 50 million people tuned in to the Divisional Round Sunday broadcast. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.outkick.com\/over-45-million-people-watched-49ers-cowboys-nfl-playoffs\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">San Francisco 49ers evict Dallas Cowboys<\/a>. Despite a terrible game and a controversial end, the following Sunday was a good day. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.outkick.com\/nfl-delivers-massive-tv-ratings-on-championship-sunday-despite-one-poor-game-and-one-with-controversy\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Each Conference Championship was won.<\/a> Over 50 million. <\/p>\n<p>The AFC Championship matchup between the Kansas City Chiefs &#038; Cincinnati Bengals reached a record of more than 60 million.<\/p>\n<p>But all of that was just a precursor for the world\u2019s biggest sporting event. <\/p>\n<p>FOX Sports reported that an average of 113million Americans watched the Super Bowl each week. It was the third most-watched television program in American history, and the most-watched Super Bowl for six years. <\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter\"><\/figure>\n<p>Forbes reports that the New England Patriots win over Seattle Seahawks 2015 Super Bowl is the most watched (114 million viewers). <\/p>\n<p>The Eagles and Chiefs games were a great way to bring in a large audience.
