This included the introduction and conclusion as well as a section where the panel was discussed. \u201cdiscusses its concern that some witnesses may have lied under oath during their testimony to the grand jury.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The bulk of the report, including sections that recommend indicting specific people, will remain hidden. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ajc.com\/politics\/fulton-judge-portions-of-trump-grand-jury-report-to-be-released-this-week\/QD5QLMFEZRHHNKAA2HHO6SXKFY\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">According to The Atlanta Journal-Constitution<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Fani Willis is the Fulton County District Attorney and is leading the investigation into 2020 elections. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/georgia-prosecutor-wants-grand-jury-report-in-trump-probe-kept-secret\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">This was argued against<\/a> The release of the report at a court appearance last mois.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe want to make sure that everyone is treated fairly and we think for future defendants to be treated fairly, it is not appropriate at this time to have this report released,\u201d Willis replied. It had the power to subpoena witnesses, documents, but not indictments. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/georgia-special-grand-jury-submits-trump-probe-report\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The work was complete approximately two weeks ago<\/a>. Willis could use the findings to bring charges against him by appointing a regular grand jury.<\/p>\n<p>Several high-profile witnesses testified before the special grand jury, including Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger, Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC), former national security adviser Michael Flynn, and Trump\u2019s former personal lawyer Rudy Giuliani.<\/p>\n<p>Willis, a Democrat began her investigation after a recording of Trump pressing Raffensperger on the phone was released. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/politics\/trump-raffensperger-call-transcript-georgia-vote\/2021\/01\/03\/2768e0cc-4ddd-11eb-83e3-322644d82356_story.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">To \u201cfind\u201d 11,780 votes<\/a>It was enough to reverse the state&#8217;s loss to Joe Biden. He argued that widespread voter fraud occurred. Giuliani and a group of 16 Republicans who served as pro-Trump alternate electors have been designated as targets of the district attorney\u2019s investigation, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnn.com\/2023\/01\/24\/politics\/fulton-county-trump-grand-jury-hearing\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">CNN<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Trump defends the calling as often as possible <a href=\"https:\/\/truthsocial.com\/@realDonaldTrump\/posts\/109745428818564017\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">\u201cperfect\u201d<\/a> It rejects all claims of wrongdoing. \u201cWe can assume that the grand jury did their job and looked at the facts and the law, as we have, and concluded there were no violations of the law by President Trump,\u201d Last month, his lawyers said so.<\/p>\n<p>The former president is currently being held separately <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/trump-special-counsel-sends-subpoenas-to-officials-in-7-states\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Under investigation by the Federal Government<\/a>.
