Although it is not a common thing for a popular senator to do, it adds fuel to speculation as he will be traveling to Iowa in February, which will be the first state to vote in the Republican primaries.<\/p>\n<p>According to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.forbes.com\/sites\/saradorn\/2023\/02\/13\/trumps-2024-gop-competition-nikki-haley-and-tim-scott-make-moves-toward-republican-presidential-contest\/?sh=68fc1a215a24\">Forbes<\/a>Scott \u201chas made key hires for a super PAC in support of his political ambitions, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.axios.com\/2023\/02\/10\/tim-scott-2024-presidential-election-super-pac\">Axios reported last week<\/a>, and is set to hold a listening tour starting this week in celebration Black History Month in which he will promote a message of \u2018hope and opportunity.&#8217;\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Senator Mike Rounds, South Dakota, has publicly supported a Scott presidential campaign.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHaving Tim get into the race would be very well-received by a number of members of the Senate, me included,\u201d Sen. This 37-year-old businessman was born in India and migrated to Ohio with his parents. Ramaswamy, his father, is also a first generation American.<\/p>\n<p>Daniel Lippman, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.politico.com\/news\/magazine\/2023\/02\/13\/anti-woke-ramaswamy-2024-election-00082414\">Politico<\/a>Ramaswamy has been rumored to be considering a run for the presidency. He has maintained a strong lead as the GOP&#8217;s public leader since his departure in 2021. Despite the uncertain election results and the imminent presence of the January 6 Capitol Riot, he has maintained the status of being the preferred candidate among Republicans to face President Joe Biden 2024.<\/p>\n<p>While other candidates might try to fight for the nomination, the majority of polling suggests that this fight could come down to Trump or DeSantis if DeSantis enters the race.<\/p>\n<p>According to Monmouth University&#8217;s latest poll <a href=\"https:\/\/www.monmouth.edu\/polling-institute\/reports\/monmouthpoll_us_020923\/\">Publiziert<\/a> February 9, 2009 \u201cWhile Trump has gained some ground over the past two months, he trails DeSantis in a head-to-head contest.
