Officials from the fire department say that at least eight people were injured in two places, with two of them being in critical condition. Officials deny that there was an attack motive, but they claim it was not accidental. NYPD\u2019s bomb squad was called to the scene to check the truck for possible explosives.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Americans told to leave Russia<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>All Americans were warned by the U.S. State Department to flee Russia on Monday. This was the most severe warning possible. It\u2019s not the first time the State Department has warned citizens to leave Russia since it began its invasion, but citizens were told \u201cdo not\u201d Travel to the Eastern European country and cite \u201cthe potential for harassment and the singling out of U.S. citizens for detention.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>Turkey issues arrest warrants for building contractors<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Turkey issued over 100 arrest warrants against building contractors on Monday. The contractors, they allege, are to blame for faulty building design and safety mechanisms, which allowed last week\u2019s devastating earthquakes to kill at least 33,000 individuals.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Is East Palestine, Ohio, Safe?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>While residents in East Palestine, Ohio, have been told it\u2019s safe to return home after an evacuation order, many are worried about continued threats to their health. A Norfolk Southern train carrying harmful industrial chemicals derailed on February 3, and the company informed the EPA that dangerous chemicals were on board \u2014 prompting authorities to order an evacuation of the area. Residents were informed that they could return home five days later. However, many residents are still uncertain due to new reports about the dangers of the emitted chemicals.<\/p>\n<p><strong> Cali Judge stops L.A. Plan that Would Have Reduced 13,000 Trees<\/strong><br \/>A state judge in California has halted a plan by the city of Los Angeles to cut down more than 13,000 trees as part of the city\u2019s effort to expand its sidewalks. In the ruling, the judge called the proposal &#8220;the proposal.&#8221; \u201cfundamentally flawed.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong> NJ School District Superintendent Resigns Following Tragic 14-Year Old Suicide <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Following the tragic suicide by a 14-year old girl from the Central Regional Schools District, Ocean County, New Jersey, the superintendent has resigned. Just days after four teens brutally attacked her in a TikTok viral video, the teen took his own life. Parents and community members claim that the video exemplifies the violence and dangerous atmosphere at schools. The family of the girl who died has accused the school district for failing to act quickly.<\/p>\n<p><strong>OSHA fines Mars Wrigley after employees fall into chocolate vat<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>OSHA has fined Mars Wrigley $14,500 after two workers fell in a chocolate vat. According to the federal agency, the candy company failed to provide adequate training for its workers.
