He stated that part of this was because he married Domino Kirke-Badgley back in 2017.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFidelity in every relationship, including my marriage, is important to me,\u201d Badgley continued. \u201cIt\u2019s got to the point where I don\u2019t want to do that.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The \u201cGossip Girl\u201d alum went on to say that he asked the show\u2019s creator, Sera Gamble, if he could cut out the intimate scenes completely. Gamble was informed by him. \u201cdesire would be zero, to go from 100 to zero\u201d during \u201cYou\u201d Season 4.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI signed this contract. I signed up for this show. I know what I did. You can\u2019t take this aspect out of the DNA of the concept,\u201d Badgley explained. \u201c\u2018So how much less can you make it?\u2019 was my question to them.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The actor stated that he was surprised by the creation. \u201cdidn\u2019t even bat an eye\u201d When he asked for such a drastic departure from previous seasons, which contained graphic sexual content.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cShe was really glad that I was that honest. She was sort of almost, I want to say empowered, she had a really positive response,\u201d He continued. \u201cThey came back with a phenomenal reduction.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Badgley and his wife have a 2-year-old boy, James. The couple is also raising a 14-year-old son from Kirke-Badgley\u2019s previous relationship.<\/p>\n<p>The psychological thriller \u201cYou\u201d The Netflix original in 2018 and starred Badgley as Joe Goldberg (a bookstore manager) who falls for Guinevere Beck, an aspiring writer (Elizabeth Lail). Joe is increasingly creepy to Guinevere and does strange things like stalking and even killing to stay close to her. The series is <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rottentomatoes.com\/tv\/you\">Rating<\/a> 90% Fresh on Rotten Tomatoes, and has a 74% reader score.<\/p>\n<p>Badgley called his wife previously \u201ca truly radiant soul\u201d In an Instagram <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/B6L-SARg1rq\/?utm_source=ig_embed&#038;ig_rid=f27e6471-c770-459f-8d7d-936ddd336d47\">Post<\/a>, writing, \u201cYou encourage others to be honest, and brave, and gentle, and expansive.
