But then it looked like the screen switched to someone scrolling to the Tubi TV app and searching through the Tubi library, looking for something else to watch.<\/p>\n<p>Tubi shared on its YouTube video caption, \u201cNo, you didn\u2019t sit on the remote. But on Super Bowl Sunday, we fooled audiences into thinking they did.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Viewers quickly headed to social media with their reactions, saying the commercial had fooled them into thinking someone in the room was changing the channel.<\/p>\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Alright who else fell for it? \ud83e\udd14 <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/cpzt2vqw5L\">pic.twitter.com\/cpzt2vqw5L<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Tubi (@Tubi) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/Tubi\/status\/1624978035261816832?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">February 13, 2023<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u201cTubi commercial had us all looking for the remote,\u201d The Game Day NFL <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/TheGameDayNFL\/status\/1624968113258201088\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">tweete<\/a>d with the laughing\/crying emoji.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThat tubi commercial definitely made me start a fight with my husband,\u201d another person <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/haley_crusee\/status\/1624968720618786817\">admitted<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThat Tubi commercial came on &#038; I yelled at every single person in this room,\u201d a third Twitter reaction <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/JoeSantagato\/status\/1624966979063783425\">says<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The commercial was called \u201cInterface Interruption,\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodreporter.com\/tv\/tv-news\/tubi-fakes-out-viewers-2023-super-bowl-ad-commercial-streaming-service-1235323451\/\">per<\/a> The Hollywood Reporter. The ad was produced by the agency Mischief in partnership with Tubi, the publication noted.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNicole [chief marketing officer at Tubi] and the Tubi team came to us with a unique brief for the streaming sector: Reveal Tubi to the world, personality-first. Not title-first.
