Stephanopoulos was unable to do anything but try to bring up Trump&#8217;s family and a leftist hit piece. <em>The Washington Post<\/em>.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLet me ask you about your oversight responsibilities,\u201d Stephanopoulos started by saying. \u201cYou made it clear you are going to be looking at Hunter Biden,and his financial entanglements with foreign countries including China.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He put up a frontpage story starting from <em>The Washington Post<\/em> that was in Sunday\u2019s paper titled \u201cAfter helping prince\u2019s rise, Trump and Kushner benefit from Saudi funds.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cA two billion dollar investment in Kushner\u2019s funds from the Saudi\u2019s we know the President\u2013former President Trump has also received funds related to the Saudi golf tour,\u201d He added.<\/p>\n<p>Stephanopoulos then questioned Comer about the since. \u201cSenator Ron Wyden says these entanglements deserve investigation. Will you be investigating that as well?\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI think everything&#8217;s on the table,\u201d Comer insisted.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe&#8217;re investigating Joe Biden. We know that Joe Biden said during the presidential campaign that he had no knowledge of his son&#8217;s business interests. He wasn&#8217;t involved. He didn&#8217;t benefit from them. We have evidence that would suggest otherwise, and this is very concerning,\u201d He added.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Comer was very rational in his solutions. He said that \u201cthere&#8217;s a legislative solution to this, and it can be bipartisan. The Democrats complained about Kushner&#8217;s foreign dealings. Republicans are certainly complaining about the entire Biden family&#8217;s foreign business dealings.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe need to have strict ethics laws and we need to significantly increase the disclosure laws in America,\u201d Comer admitted \u201cSo I think this investigation is going to be very important to fix a problem before it gets out of hand.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>That answer wasn\u2019t good enough for the Democrat operative disguised as a network news anchor, Stephanopoulos demanded to know if \u201cthis should apply to Kushner and Trump as well as the Bidens at this point?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI believe that when we talk about passing legislation to set a line as to where you can be with relatives of high-ranking government officials with respect to doing business with adversaries overseas, then it would apply to everyone. We need to fix this before it gets worse in the next administration,\u201d Comer was contacted.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Once a Democrat Party operative. Always a Democrat Party operative. Stephanopoulos shouldn&#8217;t be regarded as a fair and balanced host. Kushner&#8217;s international dealings were the subject of complaints from Democrats. Republicans are expressing concern about the foreign business dealings of the entire Biden family. It is important to understand what is permissible and what is not. We must have clear ethics laws. And we need to dramatically increase disclosure laws in America. This investigation will be crucial to resolve a problem before it becomes serious.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>STEPHANOPOULOS : To be clear, you believe this should apply to Kushner as well as Trump at this point.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>COMER: If we are going to pass legislation to establish a boundary as to who can be with relatives of high ranking government officials regarding doing business with adversaries abroad, it should be applicable to all.
