The contract allocated 480 million yuan ($70.5million) for the development of near-space airships. The state brokerage firm that represented it at the time described it as &#8220;a great company.&#8221; \u201cclassic example of deep civil-military fusion\u201d\u2014the regime\u2019s aggressive national strategy compelling civilian Chinese companies to support its military goals\u2014and expressed optimism for the \u201cwide potential for future military application\u201d Coming out of the project.<\/p>\n<p>The partnership yielded the country\u2019s first military-civilian stratospheric airship, named \u201cYuanmeng,\u201d About the meaning \u201ca dream fulfilled,\u201d October 2015.<\/p>\n<p>Eagles Men Aviation Science and Technology Group is based in Beijing and makes stealth planes, virtual reality training simulators and autonomous drones. It has also participated in more than a dozen state military and aerospace programs. Its products have contributed to the security of the 2014 Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation summit held in China, as well as a grand military parade in 2015 marking the 70th anniversary of the Sino\u2013Japanese war victory, according to its website.<\/p>\n<p>Guangzhou Tian-Hai-Xiang Aviation Technology was founded by a Chinese veteran of the anti-aircraft artillery unit. It produces aircraft and armored scout cars for civilian and military purposes. According to its website, it participated in a naval drill at the invitation of armed police. It deployed military drones to aid coast guard personnel to find and arrest target vessels.<\/p>\n<p>Public registration information shows that Dongguan Lingkong Remote Sensing Technology has been connected to Beihang University.
