I think this investigation is going to be very important to fix a problem before it gets out of hand.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Republicans in Congress are looking into whether President Joe Biden was involved in financial schemes that cost millions of dollars to Hunter Biden in countries like Russia, China, and Ukraine. The elder Biden stated that he was a candidate for the presidency. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/opinion\/biden-once-denied-knowledge-of-hunters-business-dealings-now-hes-certain-they-were-not-illegal\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Hunter Biden was never a friend.<\/a> Comer spoke out about his foreign ventures but Comer said that congressional investigators are involved \u201chave evidence that would suggest otherwise.\u201d<\/p>\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Joe Biden&#8217;s relatives made millions of dollars from China and other adversaries. Hunter Biden\u2019s lawyer, Abbe Lowell, <a href=\"https:\/\/abcnews.go.com\/US\/house-oversight-committee-hunter-bidens-attorney-exchange-letters\/story?id=97006869\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">I replied back with a reply<\/a> The oversight panel agreed.\u00a0\u201clacks a legitimate legislative purpose and oversight basis for requesting such records from Mr. Biden, who is a private citizen.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Lowell also offered to meet with Comer\u2019s committee \u201cto see whether Mr. Biden has information that may inform some legitimate legislative purpose and be helpful to the Committee.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>It remains to be determined if Comer will accept Lowell on this offer. His Republican-led panel has the power to subpoena and could increase the standoff in coming days. Hunter Biden is also being investigated by federal prosecutors. The First Son said that he is. <a href=\"https:\/\/thehill.com\/homenews\/sunday-talk-shows\/546384-hunter-biden-says-he-is-100-certain-he-will-be-cleared-of\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Certain<\/a> He will be exonerated of any wrongdoing.<\/p>\n<p>On Sunday, Comer said any legislation Congress comes up with can be bipartisan, acknowledging how Democrats have raised concerns about the foreign business dealings of former President Donald Trump\u2019s family. In particular, Stephanopoulos mentioned Trump\u2019s son-in-law Jared Kushner and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/politics\/2023\/02\/12\/after-helping-princes-rise-trump-kushner-benefit-saudi-funds\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">His ties to Saudi Arabia<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Comer claimed Kusher is different from the Bidens in that he has interviewed investigators.
