They seem to be her favorite thing, more than anything else. <a href=\"https:\/\/redstate.com\/bonchie\/2022\/07\/18\/kamala-harris-gives-a-mind-numbing-lesson-on-assault-weapons-and-venn-diagrams-n597163\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Venn diagrams<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The vice president has been serving as vice president for many years. <a href=\"https:\/\/redstate.com\/mike_miller\/2023\/01\/31\/from-cringe-to-creepy-kamala-harris-waxes-idiotic-about-yellow-school-buses-again-with-a-twist-n696728\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Given public speeches<\/a> The amazingness of seemingly ordinary vehicles is extolled. It doesn\u2019t matter that public buses in general are often an inefficient waste of taxpayer money, nor does it matter that spending hours a day commuting on buses constitutes a waste of human productivity. Harris is passionate about those long, complicated things and wants you to understand it.<\/p>\n<p>Aside from that, did you know you can charge your phone on these cases?<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">KAMALA HARRIS gushes in praise of electric school buses &#8220;The bus has Wi-Fi and even USB outlets next to every seat. Does she really find her spill about charging one\u2019s phone on an electric bus that hilarious? I wonder if the speakers are deliberately trying to make her look silly.<\/p>\n<p>Given that you cannot charge your phone or use an internet connection while riding in a gasoline-powered vehicle, it is obvious that her excitement is justified. These are completely new features that were only possible because of the cobalt mining by child slaves in Africa. Western elites can feel like the planet is being saved. Conversely, those are things we\u2019ve all been doing in our cars for many years and that no vice president should be gushing about.<\/p>\n<p>Here\u2019s my question about all this. Why is the federal government spending billions of taxpayer dollars to purchase electric buses? I mean, I\u2019m not even outright dismissing the idea that electric buses may be the future, but if they are, then they should have no problem gaining popularity on their own. Further, if they truly save money as claimed, then I\u2019m sure cities will be jumping at the chance to upgrade.<\/p>\n<p>I suspect there\u2019s more to the story, though. While environmental groups and leftwing outlets have flooded the zone with studies supposedly proving how amazing electric buses are, the constant full-court press by the White House makes me think the math isn\u2019t quite as rosy as they assert.
