I think it\u2019s a misdial and I tell them, \u2018I think you made a mistake.\u2019 I didn\u2019t know. I didn\u2019t know anything that was happening. And they said, \u2018Can you call us back. Can you call us back right now. Can you read this script?\u2019 Wait. \u2018What\u2019s the script?\u2019 It\u2019s <em>Fast X<\/em>. My heart stops.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He said that he had initially declined to accept the offer. \u201cAnd I say no. I can\u2019t. It\u2019s too big. I can\u2019t it\u2019s too big. How can I? I\u2019m a fan. I\u2019m the biggest fan of the franchise. How can I? It won\u2019t work. I read the script. It was so good. I called them back and I said, \u2018Can I? Can you rewrite it tonight?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He added, \u201cI was literally on no sleep. And obviously, since the third act was changing, I needed to change the first act. And when you rewrite the third act, and the first act, the second act has to go. Now, they confront the most lethal opponent they\u2019ve ever faced: A terrifying threat emerging from the shadows of the past who\u2019s fueled by blood revenge, and who is determined to shatter this family and destroy everything\u2014and everyone\u2014that Dom loves, forever.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>It continuees, \u201cIn 2011\u2019s <em>Fast Five<\/em>, Dom and his crew took out nefarious Brazilian drug kingpin Hernan Reyes and decapitated his empire on a bridge in Rio De Janeiro. What they didn\u2019t know was that Reyes\u2019 son, Dante (Aquaman\u2019s Jason Momoa), witnessed it all and has spent the last 12 years masterminding a plan to make Dom pay the ultimate price.<\/p>\n<p>Dante\u2019s plot will scatter Dom\u2019s family from Los Angeles to the catacombs of Rome, from Brazil to London and from Portugal to Antarctica. New allies will be forged and old enemies will resurface.
