Matt Rosendale (R-MT) tweeted. \u201cAirspace is closed due to an object that could interfere with commercial air traffic \u2014 the DOD will resume efforts to observe and ground the object in the morning.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Senator John Tester (D\u2013MT) confirmed the news via Twitter: \u201cI am aware of the object in Montana air space and remain in close contact with senior DOD and Administration officials.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>After Canadian officials granted authorization, a U.S. Air Force F-22 Raptor shot a unidentified object above Canada on Saturday afternoon. Another unidentified object was shot down by the U.S. military off Alaska&#8217;s coast Friday afternoon.<\/p>\n<p>This all happened after the U.S. military used an F-22 Raptor to down a Chinese spy ball off the coast South Carolina. The spy balloon was shot down by the fighter jet using an F-22 Raptor. It fired an AIM-9X Sidewinder missile to destroy it.
