He\u2019s on the lookout now for a buyer to take a majority interest in the team.<\/p>\n<p>November\u00a0 <a href=\"https:\/\/commanderswire.usatoday.com\/2022\/11\/02\/commanders-dan-snyder-sell-team-options\/\">Snyder has been hired by Bank of America Securities<\/a> To \u201cexplore potential transactions\u201d With the franchise. It\u2019s been reported that none of the first rounds of bids exceeded $6.3 billion. Amazon founder and CEO is one of the favourites to buy the club. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.boundingintosports.com\/2023\/01\/the-washington-post-denies-rumors-owner-jeff-bezos-would-sell-the-paper-to-buy-washington-commanders\/\">Jeff Bezos<\/a>, didn\u2019t even submit an opening bid.<\/p>\n<p>Snyder would receive $7 billion if he is successful in obtaining the asking price. He may need to move at a faster pace if he does. According to several reports, the D.C. area team could be sold within the next month.<\/p>\n<p>A\u00a0report\u00a0from\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/frontofficesports.com\/jeff-bezos-has-yet-to-officially-bid-on-washington-commanders\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Front Office Sports<\/a> Todd Boehly was also a co-owner of Los Angeles Lakers, Dodgers and Sparks. Clearlake Capital co-founders Behdad Eghbali and Jos\u00e9 Feliciano are also potential purchasers.
