Matt Gaetz introduced a House resolution calling for the end to U.S. military support and financial assistance to Ukraine.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The resolution calls for peace after nearly a whole year of war.<\/p>\n<p>Gaetz and ten cosponsors present the \u201cUkraine Fatigue Resolution,\u201d The U.S. must do this. \u201cend its military and financial aid to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailyfetched.com\/tag\/ukraine\/\">Ukraine<\/a> and urges all combatants to reach a peace agreement.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Fox News <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/politics\/gaetz-introduces-resolution-end-military-financial-aid-ukraine-urge-peace-deal\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">reported<\/a>:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><em>It is noted that the U.S. has contributed more than $110 million in humanitarian, financial and military aid to Ukraine since Russia invaded Ukraine on February 20, 2022. It includes security assistance worth more than $27.4 million.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>As <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailyfetched.com\/u-s-aid-to-ukraine-soars-past-26-billion-as-economy-tanks-under-biden\/\">The Daily Fetched<\/a> According to reports, Kyiv has received more than $26 billion in total military aid from the United States.<\/p>\n<p>Antony Blinken announced an additional $2.5 billion in military assistance for Ukraine in January.<\/p>\n<p>Apart from the $2.5 Billion for Ukraine, Congress already gave $45 Billion to the country as part of the $1.7 Trillion Omnibus Spending bill. This law was signed into law December 2022.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis is about freedom, freedom for Ukraine, freedom everywhere,\u201d Biden made the announcement.<\/p>\n<p>Fox News also mentions that the resolution lists all the equipment that the U.S. have provided since the outbreak of conflict. The resolution also mentions Pentagon officials, who claim that the munitions were delivered safely. \u201cseverely depleted United States stockpiles, weakening United States readiness in the event of conflict.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>It claims that U.S. assistance has inadvertently contributed to civilian casualties and cites U.S. estimates of 40,000 civilians having died in the conflict.<\/p>\n<p>Concern about the continued U.S. funding of the war has grown among a subset of Republicans as the conflict has dragged on, with lawmakers highlighting issues at home that could use additional funding \u2013 including what they see as a failure to protect the U.S. border against a historic migrant crisis.<\/p>\n<p>Matt Gaetz stated that the U.S. is the largest contributor to the success of an \u201ceverlasting conflict.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAmerica is in a state of managed decline, and it will exacerbate if we continue to hemorrhage taxpayer dollars toward a foreign war,\u201d He said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe must suspend all foreign aid for the War in Ukraine and demand that all combatants in this conflict reach a peace agreement immediately.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Reps. Andy Biggs (R-Ariz.), Lauren Boebert (R-Colo.), Paul Gosae (R-Ariz.), Marjorie Taylor Greene(R-Ga.), Anna Paulina Luna (R-Fla.), Thomas Massie and Mary Miller (R-Ill.), Ralph Norman, R.S.C., and Matt Rosendale, R.Mont.<\/p>\n<p>Gaetz attacked both the parties for providing additional funding for Ukraine and asked if there was a limit.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHow much more for Ukraine? Is there any limit?\u201d He asked the House floor.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhich billionth dollar really kicks in the door?
