The last time so many Americans said they were worse off was during the Great Recession\u00a0in 2008 and 2009.<\/p>\n<p>By contrast, only 35 percent said they&#8217;re better off this year\u2014a result suggestive of &#8220;challenging economic times,&#8221; According to the pollster.<\/p>\n<p>These are the findings &#8220;follow a year of persistent high inflation&#8221; With President Joe Biden &#8220;the highest inflation rates since 1982.&#8221; Biden&#8217;s inflation has reached new heights.
