Facebook stated that Trump would be banned from using Instagram and Facebook for inciting violence. This was a violation to their terms of service.<\/p>\n<p>It is unclear whether Trump will use the platform\u2014though the former president was reinstated on Twitter last November, he has still not used his account, opting instead to use his own platform, Truth Social.\u00a0 Trump spokeswoman did not immediately respond when we asked for comment.<\/p>\n<p>Facebook CEO Nick Clegg <a href=\"https:\/\/www.axios.com\/2023\/01\/25\/trump-meta-facebook-instagram-social-media\">Telled<\/a> <em>Axios <\/em>Last month, Trump announced that his accounts would be reopened &#8220;in coming weeks,&#8221; However, he warned that there are still options for future bans. &#8220;We&#8217;ve always believed that Americans should be able to hear from the people who want to lead the country,&#8221; Clegg said <em>Axios<\/em>. &#8220;We don&#8217;t want to stand in the way of that.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Trump has not posted any of his comments on the topic as of today&#8217;s writing <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/DonaldTrump\">Facebook<\/a> Or <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/realdonaldtrump\/\">Instagram<\/a> These accounts have more than 50,000,000 followers each.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Former president Donald Trump&#8217;s official Facebook and Instagram accounts have officially been restored, a Facebook spokesman told the Washington Free Beacon on Thursday.
