The Caldwell Police Department School Resources Officers were alerted by the video and shared it on social media. Arreola was charged with four counts for injury to a child and one count for inciting a disturbance. He also faces four counts of encouraging minors to fight.<\/p>\n<p>Arreola encouraged students to fight, while he set a time and encouraged them to do so.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMr. Arreola\u2019s actions tear at the fabric of our community and are reprehensible. The video(s) is appalling, disturbing and unimaginable. This man was entrusted by his community to keep our children safe and provide academic education but he chose to facilitate a fight club in his classroom,\u201d\u00a0Rex Ingram, chief of police at Caldwell Police said that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/100066682745221\/posts\/pfbid0N4VmeSwR3UWkrePSzxriSxSi6g3Yx1Q13RKp8UHs3G3qZu5n2u6AsV5kjNpuPquDl\/?mibextid=cr9u03\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">A press release<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Brittany Gish, Brittany&#8217;s daughter, told The Daily Wire that Arreola encouraged her daughter to fight another student. Gish also said Arreola stopped students from taking a test to ask them if there were any students in the class who didn\u2019t like each other. He then allegedly offered to buy students McDonald\u2019s if they didn\u2019t tell anyone about the fights.<\/p>\n<p>Gish claimed that her daughter and another girl were encouraged to fight and that her child sustained minor injuries including bruised ribs, headaches, and other minor injuries.<\/p>\n<p>Gish shared with The Daily Wire a video showing her daughter being attacked and beaten by another girl while students laughed. Gish stated that her daughter has been bullied and harassed since the incident.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt is every parent\u2019s nightmare to learn that the person they trusted to keep their child safe is the one who caused harm,\u201d Gish spoke to The Daily Wire via email. \u201cThe district had a responsibility to hire someone that my child was safe with, and they failed at that. Not only did she have to experience this bizarre outrageous behavior from the teacher, but now she has to deal with the harassment and bullying from other students.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cShe\u2019s such a sweet loving girl and she\u2019s been taking it really hard, having her peers make fun of her and put her down for getting beat up and for being a \u2018snitch,\u2019\u201d Gish was added.<\/p>\n<p>The police said that Arreola is prohibited from reaching out to any Caldwell student involved in this incident, or any Caldwell student district student.<\/p>\n<p>While she couldn\u2019t point to any direct evidence of a connection, Gish said the attack on her daughter occurred less than two weeks after she and her daughter appeared on Fox News to criticize a new transgender bathroom policy in the district.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A substitute teacher at an Idaho middle school was arrested late last month after he allegedly encouraged children in his classroom to fight while he and other students filmed the altercations.
