Because criminals and mass-shooters tend to ignore paperwork the law is a reasonable means to ensure that lawful Floridians can defend themselves and their communities. \u00a0<\/p>\n<p>As one would expect, the outrage over permitless carry is hysterical and emotional. It is also largely unfounded. Check out this <a href=\"https:\/\/www.msnbc.com\/opinion\/msnbc-opinion\/florida-gov-ron-desantis-pushes-guns-state-rcna68938\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Column<\/a> Wajahat Ali, a perpetually confused man who emphasizes the dangers associated with permitless carry by pointing out incidents that are completely unrelated to the prospective laws. Take the Newtown Action Alliance. <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/NewtownAction\/status\/1622624109573152770?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Arguments<\/a> That \u201cconstitutional carry\u201d \u2014 the term Second Amendment advocates often use to describe permitless carry \u2014 isn\u2019t a real thing because the \u201cconstitution didn\u2019t give anyone the right to carry guns publicly without permits, background checks, or training.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>First, \u201cconstitutional carry\u201d doesn\u2019t affect \u201cbackground checks\u201d Any way. All Floridians, regardless of whether they plan on carrying the firearm, must complete the same NICS forms. Newtown also knows this. \u201cuniversal background check\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2015\/10\/07\/7-gun-control-myths-that-just-wont-die\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">canard<\/a>This claim is made to give the impression that mass murderers could simply walk into Wal-Marts and grab their machine guns with no FBI checks. <\/p>\n<p>Yes, the Second Amendment protects Americans&#8217; right to vote. \u201ccarry\u201d a gun. The part that says &#8220;Gun&#8221; is what you remember. \u201cto keep and bear Arms\u201d? ?Until the dictionary conforms with current leftist rhetoric about the issue (and it is possible to ignore it), <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2022\/12\/15\/why-the-redefinition-of-the-word-woman-matters\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Objective reality<\/a> Redesign \u201cwoman,\u201d Why not?
