These documents were obtained by The Associated Press. In court records, Mixon does not have an attorney.<\/p>\n<p>Friday&#8217;s motion by the prosecutors resulted in a change of the case.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe need additional investigation before we would move forward with this case,\u201d the city prosecutor\u2019s office said when asking the judge to dismiss the charges.<\/p>\n<div class=\"video-block full\">\n<div class=\"video-player youtube\">[embedded content]<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>Mixon was a former Oklahoma Sooner and has been involved in off-the-field incidents. Mixon punched a female student from Oklahoma in the face in 2014. This attack was captured on surveillance video.<\/p>\n<p>Mixon was removed from the football team for one year and entered an Alford plea. That means that Mixon did not admit guilt but acknowledges there\u2019s evidence for a conviction. Mixon was sentenced to a deferred sentence and ordered to do community service. He also had to go through counseling. He was also made a second-rounder by the NFL Draft due to the incident. There have been many instances when players from the Bengals were involved in legal issues. They were also traditionally one of most hated franchises in sports. He also added 60 receptions for 441 yard in 2022.<\/p>\n<p>For good measure, he also made a few touchdown passes. Spending the majority of his career as the Bengal\u2019s primary ball carrier, he has amassed 5,378 yards and 40 TDs in his six-year career in Cincinnati.<\/p>\n<div class=\"video-block full\">\n<div class=\"video-player youtube\">[embedded content]<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>Mixon and Bengals will be looking to maintain their status as AFC North champions and make it back to the playoffs.
