Thanks to pressure from both Republicans and Democrats, Congressional leaders will be given a briefing on the classified documents found at the former president\u2019s residence. The briefing will also include the classified documents found at Joe Biden\u2019s home in Delaware and the Penn Biden Center. Both parties are interested in information about the documents that were found in the hands of the presidents. <\/p>\n<p>The DOJ\u2019s overreaction to Trump\u2019s extended negotiations to return documents he is not entitled to keep did not end well. Republicans received a gift when they pointed out Trump&#8217;s unprecedented actions. Democrats are now unable to take the high ground after Joe Biden was discovered to have classified documents in his possession. Biden\u2019s documents extend back to his days in the Senate. What was it that a senator could do walking out with classified documents? And, as vice president, he didn\u2019t have the authority to de-classify documents. Mike Pence is also in trouble due to classified documents that were found at his Indiana home. <\/p>\n<p>The FBI was pleased to inform the media about Mar-a-Lago&#8217;s raid and even took a photo of classified documents that were found on a closet floor. The FBI allowed a photo to be published even though this was a serious threat to democracy, and a very serious danger to national security. <\/p>\n<p>Biden didn\u2019t receive the same treatment. His lawyer revealed that Biden had discovered classified documents and gave them to the National Archive. Over the next few days, more classified documents were discovered, but no FBI visit. Only last week was it reported that the FBI searched Biden\u2019s beach mansion in Delaware. It was possible to dispose of all evidence. Many Democrats were busy defending Biden&#8217;s handling of his situation and blaming the Orange Man for his actions. However, others Democrats recognized that Biden must also be held responsible. <\/p>\n<p>This week, a briefing could be held. Biden administration officials declined public or private questions, citing ongoing investigations into criminal cases. They also reference a risk assessment for possible damage to intelligence source sources. Rep. Mike Turner, the House Intelligence Committee chair, stated that <a href=\"https:\/\/apnews.com\/article\/biden-politics-united-states-government-district-of-columbia-indiana-d6ce5c8f83a3cec3307f0f9f8311b8d7?utm_source=homepage&#038;utm_medium=TopNews&#038;utm_campaign=position_03\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">He was notified <\/a>This week&#8217;s briefing. <\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cThis administration needs to understand we do have national security urgent matters,\u201d Turner, R.-Ohio. Turner, R-Ohio, also called the White House to inform him about Saturday&#8217;s Chinese balloon.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhat\u2019s interesting is that the moment this balloon became public, I got a notice not from the administration that I\u2019m going to get a briefing on this balloon, but they have to rush to Congress now to talk to us about Donald Trump\u2019s documents,\u201d he said, adding that a discussion of Biden and Pence\u2019s records was expected to be included.<\/p>\n<p>Three sources familiar with the matter confirm that a briefing to Congress was given to the \u201cGang of Eight\u201d \u2014 the Republican and Democratic leaders of the House and Senate and of both intelligence committees. They spoke under the condition of anonymity in order to discuss intelligence matters.<\/p>\n<p>The people stated that any briefing would not include access to the documents seized.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The administration would like to distract from its mishandling of the Chinese spy balloon by now allowing a briefing with top leaders in Congress on Trump\u2019s papers.<em> Squirrel! <\/em> Now, however, it can\u2019t just be Trump\u2019s documents, it has to include Biden\u2019s, too. <\/p>\n<p>Also, the Gang of Eight will be informed about this. <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2023\/02\/04\/biden-to-brief-congressional-leaders-on-chinese-spy-balloon\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Chinese spy plane<\/a>. Senator Jon Tester (D.MT), Chairman, of the Defense Appropriations Subcommittee, has promised a hearing before that committee on the balloon.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>All staff members will be present at the meeting. \u201cGang of Eight\u201d \u2014 the top leaders of the House and Senate from both parties \u2014 a spokesman for Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer told Fox News.<\/p>\n<p>After the balloon was found in US airspace, Kevin McCarthy, the Republican House Speaker from California, demanded that the meeting be held.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cChina\u2019s brazen disregard for U.S. sovereignty is a destabilizing action that must be addressed, and President Biden cannot be silent. I am requesting a Gang of Eight briefing,\u201d In a tweet, he stated this Thursday.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>This continues to happen. This administration boasted it would be transparent. <em>evah<\/em> Transparency is only possible when it is required. The Chinese spy balloon was known to be in American airspace for days before the Defense Department bothered to brief Biden and certainly didn\u2019t publicize it to the American public. We learned about the story only after a Montana news station in Billings reported it. Who is in charge of this administration? It\u2019s sure not Joe Biden.<\/p>\n<p>The raid on Trump\u2019s home residence at Mar-a-Lago was an extreme overreach by an authoritarian administration. Biden, on the other hand, has received child-glove care.
