The president\u2019s latchkey son, Hunter, of course, had access to both of those locations \u2014 adding concern that Biden the elder hadn\u2019t taken too much care with America\u2019s secrets after he vacated the vice presidency in 2017.<\/p>\n<p>Biden answered tersely Monday \u201cNo,\u201d When asked if he was to blame for the handling of these documents, he replied:<\/p>\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Reporter: &#8220;Do you take any blame for mishandling classified documents?&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Biden: &#8220;No.&#8221; <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/vvfvl7tC7v\">pic.twitter.com\/vvfvl7tC7v<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Washington Free Beacon (@FreeBeacon) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/FreeBeacon\/status\/1622708499699343360?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">February 6, 2023<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Biden has previously claimed that he has \u201cno regrets\u201d over the scandal and that critics were pursuing a dead end.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI think you\u2019re gonna find there\u2019s nothing there. I have no regrets,\u201d he <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/biden-issues-statement-over-classified-document-scandal\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">told<\/a> reporters in late January. \u201cI\u2019m following what the lawyers have told me they want me to do \u2014 that\u2019s exactly what we\u2019re doing. There\u2019s no there there.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>So if Biden doesn\u2019t deserve any scrutiny, then who does? Well, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/cnn-writes-the-puff-piece-of-all-puff-pieces-about-bidens-work-ethic-handling-of-classified-docs\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">according<\/a> to a CNN article from January that sounded more like a press release penned by White House outgoing Chief of Staff Ron Klain, it was Biden\u2019s staffers\u2019 fault.<\/p>\n<p>Biden, you\u2019re supposed to believe, was too busy gallivanting around the globe ending the career of dutiful public service described by his fan club at CNN. Thus, as his team was closing up shop, more and more documents were flooding his office, creating a chaotic scenario.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThose competing objectives \u2013 to use his office until the final minutes even as it was obliged to shut down \u2013 made for a muddled and hurried process that left aides packing boxes of documents and papers late into the night, even as more material kept arriving,\u201d CNN observed.<\/p>\n<p>Who was Biden meeting with? Well, curiously enough, he was rushing off to finalize business with Ukraine, China, and the World Economic Forum. What he was doing on such travel can only be speculated, but perhaps the answer can be found buried deep in Biden\u2019s own pockets.<\/p>\n<p>Regardless, one thing should be evident by now to all Americans. The president wants all of the credit and none of the blame.
