Kevin Costner is a big part of Yellowstone and we hope that\u2019s the case for a long time to come,\u201d A spokesperson for Paramount Network said. \u201cThanks to the brilliant mind of Taylor Sheridan, we are always working on franchise expansions of this incredible world he has built. Matthew McConaughey is a phenomenal talent with whom we\u2019d love to partner.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Sheridan is also behind this \u201cYellowstone\u201d prequel series \u201c1883\u201d And \u201c1923.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Costner made the decision to quit, reportedly because he wanted to do less filming than producers requested.
