However, the majority of his party does not want him for another term. <a href=\"https:\/\/apnews.com\/article\/ap-norc-poll-biden-2024-presidential-prospects-c843c5af6775b4c8a0cff8e2b1db03f6\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">new poll<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>According to an Associated Press\/NORC Center for Public Affairs Research poll, only 37 percent of Democrats think Biden should remain in office for four more years. This is down from 52 percent at the last midterm elections. Overall, 78% of voters believe that Biden shouldn&#8217;t run again.<\/p>\n<p>Biden, <a href=\"https:\/\/freebeacon.com\/biden-administration\/watch-joe-bidens-senior-moment-of-the-week-vol-28\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Oldest president<\/a> The United States would have 86 citizens by the end a second term. Many respondents doubt this. <a href=\"https:\/\/freebeacon.com\/biden-administration\/joe-biden-octogenarian-history\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">octogenarian<\/a> According to AP, the president is fit to continue serving four years.<\/p>\n<p><em>Interviews with respondents to the poll show that 80 percent of those surveyed believe that the 80-year old is a liability. People focus on his coughing, gait, gaffes and the possibility that the most stressful job in the world would be more suited for someone younger.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I, honestly, think that he would be too old,&#8221; Sarah Overman (37), a Democrat who works as an educator in Raleigh, North Carolina. &#8220;We could use someone younger in the office.&#8221; \u2026<\/p>\n<p><em>Biden previously relied heavily on his past record to prove that he is capable of the job. When asked whether he could handle the office&#8217;s responsibilities at age 62, Biden has frequently responded as if it were a dare. &#8220;Watch me.&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Biden claims he has done a lot for the country, but his approval rating is still at 41%.
