Biden seems to be completely unaware of what he&#8217;s saying and doing each week. And apparently no one is advising him. Although there are many confused people on the planet, Biden is the President and most powerful man on the planet. His job requires clarity of thought, purpose, specific, worthwhile goals, and a vision of the future. Inconsistency and confusion are not what the President of America needs. What message does this obfuscation send his people and all of humanity? It sends the message that Joe Biden doesn&#8217;t know what he is doing and that he is dangerous. This makes America very vulnerable.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">What, exactly, is America\u2019s purpose in Ukraine? Is it to drive Vladimir Putin\u2019s soldiers out of that country? Do we have a plan? What is the plan exactly? Does it just involve sending money and military equipment, and hoping for the best? Does that make it possible to wage a proxy conflict? And, not to be ugly or insensitive, but would it be earth-shattering if Russia conquers Ukraine (it wouldn\u2019t be the first time in history that happened)? What vital American interest will be endangered if Russia overtakes Ukraine? Russia dominated Ukraine for much of the past 250 years, and America didn\u2019t fall apart because of it. If we are going to start trying to push people out of places they don\u2019t belong, why aren\u2019t we helping Tibet against China? Are we sending billions to Ethiopia&#8217;s Oromo Liberation Front or Mozambique against Islamist separatists? There are numerous wars in the world. Why only help Ukraine? When you start arguing that Country A ought to stay within its boundaries and not invade Country B, and if A does invade B, America is going to help B\u2026where does that principle end? What if we give the American West back as the Democrats would prefer? Or, at the very least, give Texas, New Mexico and Arizona back to Mexico (they could have California for all they care). \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Why Ukraine? What vital interest of the United States will be at stake if Russia bullies some or all of Ukraine? I\u2019m at a loss to say what it is. And I haven\u2019t heard Joe Biden explain it, either. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u201cBut we must show bully countries, like Russia and China, that America won\u2019t stand for such invasions as these. The Chinese know now that we will help Taiwan if China attacks our friend.\u201d I\u2019m sorry, but that is high-cholesterol pig slop; we don\u2019t need to spend over $100 billion in Ukraine to prove to the Chinese we\u2019ll defend our national interests. Taiwan does have the decency of being a democracy. Volodymyr Zilensky, an authoritarian dictator, is just as bad as Vladimir Putin. Why help Godzilla defeat King Kong? What if the situation were reversed and Ukraine invaded Russia, would you send uncountable billions of dollars to Putin in order to support him? I don\u2019t need to answer that question, do I?<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">So, Ukraine is our friend that\u2019s worth $113 billion of American taxpayer money (so far) and tanks to save? When was that? Joe and Hunter may have some friends in Ukraine, but I don\u2019t know anybody there, and, as an American, I don\u2019t know one service that country provides for me. Why is Ukraine\u2019s border worth so much of my money, but my border in Texas isn\u2019t?<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Although I understand that Vladimir Putin is a southbound Appaloosa, I believe he should not invade Ukraine. I hope that he does. But I also am a historian, and what Putin did (and is doing) has happened more times down through the ages than any human can count, and that leaders in America must have the wisdom to know what is best for the American people, that our resources are limited (at least mine are), and that, sadly, we can\u2019t save the world twice every century, and especially not every little podunk country that is attacked by somebody our President doesn\u2019t like. Joe Biden simply doesn\u2019t have the necessary wisdom to be President, which is why he is wasting your money and mine on a valueless venture in a country halfway across the world that most of us have never been to, will never go to, and probably wouldn\u2019t go to even if we had the opportunity. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Why, Joe? Why Ukraine?<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Confused. Yeah, I\u2019m confused, but I\u2019m confused because the Confuser-in-Chief won&#8217;t answer these questions and un-confuse me. And he won\u2019t answer them because he doesn\u2019t know the answers, either.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">I&#8217;m sure Xi Jinping is having a great time watching America waste military and financial resources in Ukraine. That\u2019s money and supplies America won\u2019t be able to send to Taiwan if Xi decides to invade. Folks, Russia is not America\u2019s greatest enemy. China is. There are 29 NATO member countries in Europe. That doesn\u2019t even count the United States. Does Biden honestly think there is a snowball\u2019s chance Vladimir Putin will invade Europe? For crying out loud, his armies, in almost a year, haven\u2019t even been able to defeat Ukraine, how is he going to defeat the 29 combined European NATO nations? Biden is this stupid?<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Yeah, I\u2019m afraid he is. Mitch McConnell, Lindsey Graham and nearly half of the Congress of the United States are all involved. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"><em>Don\u2019t miss out on some good American reading from the good ol\u2019 days.
