You\u2019ve got to make a choice. It\u2019s best you don\u2019t do either but you cannot do both,&#8217;\u201d Arnold was remembered.<\/p>\n<p>He described one time that Farley had come to visit him in Los Angeles, staying at his home \u2014 and when it was getting to be time for him to leave, he and a few others staged an intervention and begged the \u201cBlack Sheep\u201d Get help by clicking on star<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe sits down and we tell him how much we love him and we want him to go to this rehab, it\u2019s all set up,\u201d Arnold said, flanked by fellow actor Rob Lowe and one of Farley\u2019s brothers. \u201cAnd he\u2019s like, \u2018I\u2019m gonna do this but I need to run back to New York just to grab some stuff,\u2019 and that means, go back to New York to get some more heroin.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>It was not until a therapist informed Farley that he would get drugs in rehab \u2013 to avoid seizures while his body was in detox \u2014 that he finally agreed to go. Arnold claimed that Farley was admitted to rehab more then a dozen times.<\/p>\n<p>When Farley died in 1997 at just 33 years old, his death was attributed to an overdose of cocaine and morphine \u2014 but a buildup of fats and cholesterol known as advanced atherosclerosis was also listed on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/archive\/politics\/1998\/01\/03\/chris-farley-died-of-drug-overdose\/3706d464-bd7b-4d2e-a889-8be618e18293\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Autopsy report<\/a> His early death was a result of his involvement.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe did his best, it\u2019s terribly sad. He had a lot of conflict with his Catholic religion.
